From here you can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden (approx. 2h), Loen with Skylift (1.5h), the bird island Runde, Øye (1h) and the Jugendbyen Ålesund (1.5h). Mountain trips on foot and on skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (you can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski slopes.

NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is for the exclusive use of you guests, and access to the rest of the main house is restricted. There are 5 liters of water available in the fridge. Cosy place with room for up to 10 persons, but also great for a couple. Close to the main roads, but feels like thousands miles away from civilization. It is only ten minutes from Hellesylt where you have restaurants and grocery. From Hellesylt can you take the ferry to the famous fjord: Geirangerfjord a world heritage site.A great place to stay if you like to haik (or skiing) in the mountains.
