The cabin is reached via a path of about 1 km with 150 meters of elevation gain. The path is steep and takes 15–30 minutes. Light luggage is recommended. Best suited for 2 people, but has sleeping accommodations for 4. The cabin has electricity, piped water from a nearby stream and a toilet. There is no shower. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine. A modern, bright, and comfortable cabin with stunning views, a peaceful location, and close to hiking trails and natural attractions.

Man kan kun nå Finse med tog, ikke med bil. Selve togturen til Finse med bergensbanen er en opplevelse i seg selv!
