Beach condo vacation rentals in Hapuna Beach

Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home on the ocean! We enjoyed watching the surfers and sunset daily from the lanai or floor to ceiling windows, the sound of the ocean waves so rhythmic and calming. The condo is quiet, the pool and hot tub are great after a day of exploring. The kitchen was decently stocked to prepare daily meals and the condo was clean and well taken care of. The location was excellent, close to town/restaurants in one direction and beaches for snorkeling and picnicking in the other direction. Jennifer had snorkeling equipment, boogie boards and picnic coolers available for our use. We also had a designated, covered parking spot with secure, but easy access to condo. A wonderful stay! I hope our family can return again one day!

This condo was perfect for our family for the week. Excellent location, close to beaches and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful. The lanai view is spectacular and hearing the waves crash all day was awesome! The place is cozy, cute, and clean. Highly recommend.

The attention to detail in this updated condo is apparent. It is appointed with guests in mind--USB charging stations, water play equipment, well stocked kitchen, cooler, containers and ice for picnics... The waterfront location was great even though this isn't an ocean-facing unit, it is in a location that other occupants aren't walking by the front door, which is nice. Although we didn't use the pool, it was a nice little feature and appeared very well-maintained. We used the AC both for cooling the bedroom and to blur the traffic noise from the busy street below. It did the trick for both!

We enjoyed our stay in Kona. The complex was lovely with parking in front of the unit. We used the community bbqs every day to cook meals. The view from the patio was amazing, and Carol's place was perfect for our family. It was very clean with everything you needed for the beach. Umbrellas, towels, lawn chairs, and snorkeling equipment. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back.

This sweet condo was just what we needed! The pools and little porch were great and the ability to walk to the bench and see the sunset was perfect. It was so great to be able to use the umbrella and beach chairs on our outings. Great spot!

When the toaster oven failed Dennis brought a replacement the same day. Likewise, when we requested additional towels, they were quick to accommodate. The little beach across the street is rocky rather than sandy, so not swimmable, but there was a pool, a hot tub, and a barbecue area.

This was our 2nd stay here and we have already booked a return trip! The condo is clean, comfortable and so well stocked for inside and outside play! This location is fantastic! Snorkeling across the street is a treat! Fish counts and varieties were plentiful, and we saw turtles and octopus!! This trip we discovered Magic’s Beach Grill 1 mile away, enjoyed the walk to dinner and a view of the waves and turtles with a very good dinner!

Dawn’s place was absolutely perfect!! It was both near plenty of shops and restaurants, but also felt so private and safe once inside the gates! She was so helpful, so responsive, so respectful and accommodating! Her place was also very clean! Which is a must for someone who has major ocd. Her sign made me smile when we walked in “Please remove shoes” because that is a major rule in our home lol… The bathroom, kitchen, furniture were all so clean and made my anxiety go way down once I knew I didn’t have to clean before relaxing! We will definitely be back and highly recommend staying at her place!!!! :D -Mindy J

This was the perfect place for me to have a solo trip and relax! The bed was so cozy! I loved that property was right downtown and it was only a two minute walk to restaurants, stores, and coffee shops. I loved that after a long day, i was able to go to the pool and hot tub which is open until 10pm. The perfect little oasis to return to and unwind after exploring the island. Definitely will be returning!!

Absolutely LOVED the unit! Will come back! AC was perfect & unit was very clean and big! We even got a late check out! Amazing place great host. Read this review if any one before mine may have discouraged you! BOOK IT

숙소를 찾아가는게 약간 힘들었지만 그래도 너무 좋았던 숙소였습니다 부모님과 함께 머무를 숙소인데 정보가 많지 않아서 걱정했는데 두 분 다 너무 편안하게 잘 보내셨고 만족해하셨습니다 특히 넷플릭스가 되는 부분(로그인ㅇ)을 엄마가 가장 좋아하셨습니다ㅋㅋ 머무는 동안 작은 벌레 2마리와 개수대 밑 바퀴 시체 말고는 못 봤고 마당엔 바선생님이 하루에 한번씩 출몰하셨지만...(3일 묵었음) 말고는 다른 벌레 없이 잘 지냈습니다 수건 한 장이 많이 녹슬어 있어서 요청하니 다음날 새거로 바꿔주어서 좋았는데 4명이 3일을 묵는데 수건을 8장밖에 안 줘서 원래 그런거냐고 물어보니 1인당 큰거1장,작은거1장이며 기간과 상관없다는 답변을 듣고 띠용하긴 했습니다 장바구니에 담는 양만큼 세탁서비스 3달러 주고 가능, 아니면 수건 새것 줄테니 20달러인가?달라고해서 더 띠용.. 그냥 쓰던 수건 계속 쓰고 살았습니다;; 식기 수저 기름 조미료 다 있어서 자유롭게 요리해먹을 수 있었는데 상당히 아쉬웠던 점은 인덕션 2구 중 1구가 고장나있고 화력이 아주아주아주 약하여 음식하려고 후라이팬 데우는 시간만 10분~20분 소요, 라면 끓이려고 3인분치 물 끓이는 시간만 40분이 소요되었다는 점..... 무척 아쉬웠습니다 전자레인지는 잘 되어서 냉동음식만 사다 먹었네요....ㅋㅋㅋ그래도 나쁘지 않은 경험이였습니다 소음기가 있어 좋다는 후기가 많아서 잘 때 너무 시끄럽지 않을까 걱정했는데 창문 닫고 사니 바깥 소리는 거슬리지 않았고 2층에서 뛰어다니는 층간소음은 좀 있었습니다(낮에만) 근데 안 시끄러워도 밤에 소음기 틀어보세요ㅋㅋ 비, 천둥소리 등 asmr 소리인데 들으니 잠 잘 오고 좋았습니다 한국분들을 위해서 더 많은 내용을 적고싶은데 며칠 지나서 쓰는 후기라 기억이 잘 안 나네요 아 근데 밤에 가족들과 대문 밖에 나가 수많은 별을 구경한 기억은 평생 남을 것 같네요 마당에 고기 구워먹는 그릴도 있고 조명도 예뻐서 같이 모여앉아 밥 먹었던 기억도 ㅎㅎ 암튼 만족스러운 숙소였습니다!!

Beautiful space in walking distance of downtown.

Great little place for all your Big Island adventures! The water toys are a massive bonus. Traffic noise can be loud but the view of the ocean and the spectacular sunsets totally offset that.

It’s very convenient that this property had free AC. It was also nice that we were able to cook full breakfast every day. That helps save a lot of money. Also great location!

I loved this place. Stayed here a week with my mom. The balcony is large and the view is amazing. Despite there being a pool from the apartment next door, noise was never an issue. It was a five minute drive to the downtown. The pool area was relaxing. Jason was very responsive and kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Can’t say enough great things about this property! The location is amazing! The view from the lanai is worth the price alone. Peaceful, viewing a tee box and fairway, the. The top of the Hilton across the street and finally a great ocean view! The place felt bigger than expected. Their on-the-ground support was super great! We will definitely be back to this spot!

The only sounds at night aside from the constant roar of the surf, is intermittent coqui calls. beautiful view and nice location, AC worked great and provided for great nights sleep. would definitely stay again.

We had a great time on the Big Island. The place was perfect for our family of 4. It has an oversized lanai that has an amazing view, and is perfect for morning coffee and watching the sunset. We really couldn’t ask for a better place and host. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay. The complex is slightly older but matches the pictures well. The primary bedroom is actually a loft so if you have others in your party that wake up earlier, just keep this in mind. But we loved it here. We wanted to stay outside of Kona’s downtown, but we were just two minutes though from a shopping center and many restaurants. Downtown Kona is about 15-20 minutes. The views are amazing and this condo gives you more of a condo complex feel rather than resort, which means the pool was never crowded and it’s not loud. You can sit and enjoy the pool and ocean. I’d definitely stay again!

Very well maintained property with everything you need for an island vacation. Exceptionally nice extra welcome touches, such as island coffee and more.

Russ’s beautiful penthouse is amazing to say the least. You are literally right on the water and it certainly exceeded our expectations. The car was fantastic and very nice. It is a very clean ride and in top condition. The beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve all slept in. The AC was awesome. Honestly, everything was perfect. Russ laid out detailed and well organized instructions, we had no questions or problems accessing the unit. I’m a light sleeper and it was a very quiet stay, just the sounds of the waves. The pool and hot tub downstairs (elevator worked great and easy to access) were fun and relaxing to use. Nice tenants and guests around and easy access to many beaches and restaurants nearby. In addition, we experienced a last minute very unexpected tragedy~Russ went above and beyond and was compassionate and helpful which completely made the difference for us during this time. 🙏 We would rent this place again hands down. Allyson is efficient, provided us with great info on what activities, resturants, shopping, and as I briefly mentioned, was remarkably supportive and kind during a medical emergency we were facing. Thank you Allyson.

Our family of 4 (kids ages 10 + 5) stayed in this condo for 4 nights. The location was excellent and private. The Palms Villas features pristine landscaping with gorgeous plantings and flowers and a shared condominium pool perfect for the kiddos. Outside of the entrance gate is a nearby historical site with a path weaving through some lava tube and petroglyph sites leading to the ancient fishponds and the Mauni Lani resort and beaches. The beach club pass was a major bonus! I underestimated how often we'd use this access to one of the most kid-friendly/calm beaches on the big island. The condo itself was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen is stocked and we appreciated the private garage stocked with beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, and beach toys. My husband accidentally left something behind in the room and the host was thoughtful enough to contact us right away and shipped it back home to us. Overall, we had a great stay here and hope to return soon!
