Family-friendly vacation rentals in Handewitt

A wonderful, large house with everything you need for everyday needs. Very quiet location, you never feel disturbed. Gunnar welcomed us and showed us everything. We felt right at home. The place and furniture are very clean. The highlight here: the sauna, of course. We were very satisfied with everything and will definitely come back.

We had a really nice weekend at Martins home - again. And we would love to be back next year - as the years before. Thank you for having us. Best regards, Lars

A very nice, spacious and cozy apartment. The sauna gets hot quickly and is also suitable for tall people. A beautiful place on the North Sea with many possible excursion destinations on the coast and the islands.

We had wonderful days at Rickmers Hoff. We were traveling with 6 adults and had nothing to complain about! The accommodation is super modern and furnished with a lot of love. The spacious beautiful kitchen has invited you to cook with state-of-the-art appliances and a wide selection of accessories. The view was dreamy. All around green meadows on which sheep, geese and small bunnies have enjoyed the sun☀️. We arrived with an electric car and after consultation with the sea mats we were able to charge this nice way on a power line, so we were not dependent on a charging station. A little tip for those interested: the baker on Pellworm offers a delivery service (there is a bread box on the access road) —> perfect solution for late risers 😁 All in all, we highly recommend this place 🥰

We enjoyed it very much. The house is very nice and we lacked nothing. Fiona was quick to respond to any questions and was accommodating. The path to the beach ( a beautiful lagoon), the children felt a little long at 10-15 minutes and would have liked to have a scooter or bike with them. But were only there for 2 nights, otherwise we would probably have borrowed bicycles for the beautiful area.

We had a fantastic vacation with Susanne. The house and the magnificent garden with small private beach was great with our three little kids. What we especially really liked was the children's room with so many great toys (the kids were there and away) and also the great view from the living room over the sea. Great recommendation!

Communication with Hans was quick, direct and straightforward. All concerns and questions were processed and answered in no time. He was also on site to welcome us. The house looks a bit bigger than it actually is due to the many rooms in the listing, but for us it was big enough anyway, there were only three of us there. If you arrive with a lot of people it could be a bit "cuddly". The amenities were as described, nothing was missing. Induction hob, fridge and kitchen in general are new. Our personal highlight were the trampoline (for our little daughter the hit!) and for my wife and I the sauna, which is just right for 2-4 people and gets hot very quickly due to its size. All in all, a great house with a great host!

We loved staying at Nefer's - although it was a short stay, it felt like home from home for a night after staying in a couple of strictly functional hotels. There is plenty of space, especially for just two people - technically there is only one bedroom, but there is a second door separating it and the bathroom from the living room, so whoever is staying there has some privacy. It was great to be able to access Netflix on the TV to watch an evening movie. The kitchen had everything we needed - microwave, hob, toaster, crockery and cutlery, as well as a few food/coffee supplies - Nefer's complimentary jam was a lovely touch. The bathroom was also up to standard with a good shower and plenty of hot water. All in all a great little place in the heart of Ribe and a good base from which to explore with everything within walking distance. Many thanks Nefer!

We felt very comfortable and had a great time staying there! The bedroom downstairs, which can be opened to the living room, was great, so you could expand the living space during the day. The kitchen is well equipped for large groups of people. Definitely recommended for large groups.

We had a really nice stay, everything matched the listing description. Ingrid was very sweet and friendly, always available when something was needed. We also used the bikes to explore the area, which also worked great. For a few kilometers, the bikes are perfectly fine. The apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you need. My husband and I spontaneously booked Karin's lovely apartment in the afternoon for a night in the same evening and couldn't have been happier! The apartment is extremely charming and has everything you could possibly need. In addition, the central location and the available parking space are absolutely unbeatable 🙏 Karin herself, although she lives in Cape Town, took care of everything very quickly and was easily accessible for us. If we come to Flensburg again we will definitely stay with Karin! 🏡

I stayed with Jürgen and Rita for 5 weeks and highly recommend vacationing there to anyone. The apartment offers enough space. We were there with 2 adults, a child and a dog. The garden may be shared and you feel at home. Jürgen has a lot of very nice activity tips with a child and a dog. The two are the best hosts I've ever been to. Thanks again for the wonderful time and we'll definitely see you again.

We were allowed to spend two nights in this cozy, rustic apartment. The communication was very straightforward, Charlotte welcomed us warmly and showed us everything. Our dog was also warmly welcomed by her. The apartment is rather simply equipped, but you will find everything you need. Based on the description, we were not so clear that the wood-burning stove in the living area would be the only heat source. So you have to be (like us) practiced in the fire. There is no heat source in the bedroom and bathroom, so you have to divide your time well so that the rooms are sufficiently warmed. While it only got really warm in the apartment on the second day, we froze on the first evening. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable here and would certainly come back again.

When we arrived, we thought, “Oops, where did we end up here”… A short time later we noticed, "WHOW, where did we end up HERE!" Such an absolute hit! Our first place to stay that is also really "noticeably" used by the owners. A lovingly and stylishly furnished apartment in which we immediately felt comfortable. We will be happy to come back and will gladly recommend it.

More beautiful than we imagined. Very quiet. Very friendly people who live there, among other things, on the premises. If you want peace and quiet, you will definitely find it there! Very very nice complex that has a pool and dogs are allowed. Almost impossible to find in the combination.

The apartment is close to the train station and approx. 10 minutes to the sea. It was sparkling clean and looked newly furnished. Communication with the landlady was very friendly and fast. So 100% satisfaction.

We had a great stay at the apartment located in the northern part of the island. It was clean and well-maintained, and just a 5-minute walk from the beach! The host was excellent with communication, answering all of our questions promptly. Tourist attractions are easily accessible by public transport, as long as you time it well from the apartment. Additionally, there are plenty of supermarkets within a short distance, which made things very convenient. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, spacious apartment, not top current in terms of furnishings, but we felt very comfortable. The apartment is simply and functionally furnished, without much frills. The oven, the large bathtub and of course the sauna complete the stay perfectly. Communication with Sascha was always quick, very nice and straightforward and heating the sauna again in the late evening was no problem for him. We will be happy to come back. Thank you very much.

We were very comfortable in Claudia's house. The pool was used to cool off after the morning runs, we also enjoyed using the yoga mats in the gym. Since the cupboards are well stocked, you have to improvise a little with your stuff, but that wasn't a problem for us. Our Wäller dog was able to move freely and also had a very relaxed holiday. From the house Kiel and the Baltic Sea are quickly reached and so Preetz is a good starting point for day trips. We particularly liked Lüdjenburg, Eutin and Eckernförde and of course the Schönberger Strand. We had ideal bathing weather in August.

The apartment is nicely located in a cul-de-sac, ideal if the dog has to get out, you are right in the Feldmark. Swimming pool and sauna(small but good and quick to use) are a pleasant goodie. For people who have to climb stairs, a little difficult, but irrelevant to us. Nice bathroom, cozy beds.

We spent the turn of the year in Schönhagen with peace and convenience. The apartment is located not far from the beach and is equipped with everything you need. We used the sauna in the basement to ourselves. The place is a good starting point for numerous excursions, especially even in warmer weather by bike. Thanks to Jan for the nice welcome.
