Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hanalei Beach

Veronica’s condo was exactly what we needed to enjoy our Honeymoon in Kauai! The location was our favorite aspect, you could get to each side of the island within an hour and we did so many activities that the location was perfect. The condo itself is exactly as described and the pool and grounds are beautiful. The sunrises from the beach right out front are gorgeous and we really enjoyed all the chickens running around. We would absolutely stay with Veronica again in Kauai.

The area was absolutely gorgeous. You can watch the sunrise from the lanai which we did every morning. Even in February the house was warm, but we slept with all the windows open and our bedroom door to help with air circulation. The nearby hideaways beach is at the bottom of a steep paved path, but it was an easy walk we did a couple of times. The BBQ is at the bottom of the path so it's not really convenient for grilling and bringing food up to the house but you can eat at the picnictable there. The space felt mostly clean. The beach gear located in the guest closet was not organized and was pretty much thrown in there making it difficult to hang clothes. Also, no hand soaps in the house except one little bar in each bathroom and no supplies in the shower. I always prepare for that so bring your own toiletries and you'll be good to go. Overall it was a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at our condo in Princeville. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was as described and Larry was very responsive with any questions we had. The location was right in the heart of princeville near the shops, restaurants and grocery. We enjoyed morning walks/runs along the nearby trail to the ocean and enjoyed the mountain views every morning!

We had a truly wonderful stay! This home was the perfect home base for our trip. The kitchen was fantastic and well-stocked, which was ideal since we cooked most of our meals. We loved spending time on the balcony, where we were treated to stunning views of waterfalls and rainbows—truly magical. The layout of the home was perfect for two couples, with two primary bedrooms on separate levels, each with its own en suite bathroom. It gave everyone plenty of privacy and made the space feel especially comfortable and well thought out. The home itself has a clean, calming, almost zen vibe, and it’s beautifully decorated. We also really appreciated the hosts’ generosity with local recommendations, which helped us make the most of our time in the area. Highly recommend—would absolutely stay here again!

Passt..alles da was man braucht..sauber ,,Lob an die Dame die noch am reinigen war als wir angekommem sind ..der Parkplatz war nicht zu finden ..man hatte die falsche Nummer aufgemalt..mussten lange suchen aber auf Nachfrage wurde das Problem gelöst..insgesamt ist die Unterkunft aber sehr empfehlenswert

This is an absolutely wonderful property. The condo is spacious, clean, and really well stocked (particularly the kitchen). It also has a very private feel which we loved. Layout is great as well. The complex is great with a very nice pool and BBQs. One of the better places we’ve stayed!

My brother and I spent 9 nights in Bruce's cottage and can't imagine staying anywhere else WHEN we come back to Kauai. The home felt very private, even though on the farm property. I've seen other reviews mentioning ants, but they were a very minor issue, just keep the kitchen clean and you won't see them! We loved the geckos, they are so harmless and will even pose for up close pictures! You'll get used to the roosters, they are everywhere on the island, just bring earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep. Bed's were cozy, King in the bedroom as well as the pullout couch in the living room. Plenty of linens and pillows. Showers were great, a spacious indoor shower and a great outdoor shower as well. We took advantage of Bruce's rental car. Very well kept and clean SUV. Cheaper than a rental and Bruce provided pickup & dropoff services at the airport. Lastly, we played in 2 "farmball" games on the Fridays. So fun! All the players were so friendly and welcoming. Mahalo Bruce

Mira’s place was the perfect Kauai stay! The space was right on the beach, surrounded by lots of amenities and very easy to find. Recommend to anyone visiting Kauai!

This unit is perfect for anyone who like peace and quiet , safety , many options for beaches and state parks especially ha’ena state park for the beautiful Nepali coast and Kalalau trail. The trail shuttle can pick you up at Princeville Makai Golf course at 7:30am and 9:30am everyday! If you’re camping that also means no camping reservation over night parking required for a rental car ( those are like winning a lottery ticket ) Anne and Greg are responsive to anything we asked for, they provide all the basics of a kitchen with a studio priced for at least a 3 day stay minimum, we enjoyed our time there and the bed is so comfortable it was truly difficult to get up! Television equipped with all apps so you can log into your Netflix and Paramount +, coffee maker for that great Hawaiian coffee ( bounds coffee grinder ) only thing missing was a French press but I bet if we asked it would have been provided. Beach towels beach chairs body boards etc ( you get the picture ) loved it,

We loved staying in the condo . Particularly the view of the ocean from the lanai . We sat there with our coffee in the morning and wine at night. Beautiful gardens around the complex and access to close beaches was convenient.

We loved staying at this location. It was clean, easy to find and the view was beautiful! The home was well stocked with things we needed, beach chairs, towels for the pool and beach and cooking supplies. I would definitely recommend and will be staying here again when I come to Kauai.

Wonderful condo and location for North Shore adventures. Having walkable access to Hideaway Beach is such a huge perk! We visited the beach most days and it was never crowded with great snorkeling. The condo itself is very spacious and clean. Our family felt like we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. We were spoiled with daily whale sightings from the kitchen/dining room windows and beautiful lanai. Really exceeded our expectations, would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I have stayed in these Condos/Hotel in the past and fell in love with it our first trip to Kaua’i. We had to come back and luckily found it a lot cheaper on Airbnb. We also thought the unit through Airbnb was even nicer. The bed was unbelievably comfortable! The pool and hot tubs are amazing, fun, and refreshing, especially after hiking all day. The location is also perfect for exploring the island because you are right in the middle. There is a convenient grocery, Starbucks and Rosses you can walk to across the street. Tons of restaurants with impressively good food. If we come back to Kaua’i again, we wouldn’t change where we stayed.

From the moment we saw the photos of this house we knew this is the Hawaiian architecture we were looking for. But this place looks even better in reality! We enjoyed the beautiful rooms with views over the endless ocean, the sound of the waves, the “bird’s concerts” in the morning or the fragrance of exotic flowers in the backyard. This place is equipped with absolutely everything you need (specially the kitchen) making it a great “home away from home”. And Suzie is a great host. She answered all our questions , always willing to help! The surroundings are amazing as well, it’s a pleasure to take a walk in the neighborhoods at sunset. Also, Hanalei Bay is very close. What a great way to start our trip to Hawaii! Hope to come back to this place one day!

You have to stay here! Princeville is the perfect location on the island! This spot is quiet, calm, peaceful, and most importantly, not crowded at all. The unit itself is pristine! I mean vacuum tracks, spotless clean. Plenty of space for our family of 5! The soaking tub accommodated my husband and I comfortably, which was the perfect way to end our evenings while our teens watched Disney movies together. We have stayed at another resort across the street (B.H.) and would STRONGLY recommend here versus there. This place is cleaner, less crowded, much more relaxed, with a vacation vibe rather than a busy resort, crowded pool, overrun vibe. Wonderful place! We will stay again in the future at this exact location!

Awesome location in princeville, very close to Hanalei. The house was a dream, we had a wonderful time. Everything was so easy, thank you!

We enjoyed 1 week at Tamara's and would return again. The view is exactly as pictured and perfect. It was stocked with all the essentials, plus extras like DVDs, puzzles, games. Each bedroom has a smart TV, plus one in the living room. The unit shows some signs of aging, but it is well-cleaned and feels comfortable like home. The property is quiet, private, well-maintained. The reception desk is friendly. There are 2 water refill stations at the clubhouse. We had a storm and lost power/internet several times. It was not an issue for us, and seemed somewhat common for the island. Also, cell service was very weak here. I had some confusion about the exact layout, but Tamara helped to clarify. Upper level (stairs to the entrance): living/dining/kitchen, 1 shared bath, 1 ensuite master bed. Lower level: master bed, bedroom with 2 twin beds, 1 shared bath, and studio room with a kitchen, pulldown bed, ensuite bath. All bathrooms had showers. Total of 4 lanai’s.
