What a wonderful retreat! I can't think of a better place to stay where you're surrounded by books, art and the countryside.

Megan helped us feel right at home. She even turned on the fireplace so we'd be warm when arrived. And I loved the eggs from her chickens! My daughter and I were in town for a lacrosse tournament and enjoyed the peace and quiet to rest between games. Going into town for food was quick and easy and Megan provided all the recommendations. If we return to the area again, I would definitely stay there!

In town for the birth of our first grandchild, perfect convenient location. We stayed a month. We were able to visit our family and still have our "own space" to relax. The decor was nice and felt like home. Wife has bad knees (scheduled for knee replacement next month) so the stairs were a bit difficult when carrying groceries, etc. However, the stairs are low profile which lessened the effort. The unit itself is very comfortable and clean, Sam was very attentive whenever we had a question or concern. We come from the country so getting used to traffic noise was the only drawback, but we know Sam has no control over that. Someone who comes from a city atmosphere would not even notice. It was still winter, but we did spend an evening in the back patio area, which would be very nice in the summer. Would book this place again.
