Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hammerfest

Amazing place that provided a unique accommodation experience! Would love to come back! The host was very nice and set up well for a very enjoyable stay!

Frank's place is very special and beautiful, the earth house is very cozy and comfortable. It has everything you need and is very clean. The host couple is very friendly and accommodating. The reindeer soup on the first night, by the open fireplace, was excellent. We can recommend this place without hesitation.

Turelv Gaard is a a fantastic and welcoming place to stay in a stunning location. We had a grest time as a family of 4 with lots of space. The sauna was a great highlight along with a refreshing dip in the stream. We were fortunate to see the northern lights and also enjoyed some skiing on the local slopes. The house is really well equipped and set out with everything you could need.

We spent two weeks of hiking, reading and leisure in this wonderful area; wherever we walk, the view is amazing, whomever we meet, we experience friendliness, whenever we return to the house, we can feel a warm welcome. Thanks to the sharing of some moltebær, we could find some ripe fruits, which we now dared to eat - as delicious, as the ones, Laila provided. The two weeks fly away in a flash... Though, we just left, the desire to return starts growing.

I didn't meet Trym but she was very kind to let me use the place despite I was late and it was ready for guests in the morning. It was a little hard for me to find at first, but there was a map and I just had to figure out where to go. Else really nice place for a family, or couple

we had a lovely stay. There would also have been a sauna in the wooden barrel (but unfortunately had too little time for this). Very good value for money. Marianne was very kind and very supportive.

We were lucky to have Elin’s place available for the period desired as we booked quite last min. The location was excellent close to the water and trails and a small Coop, and sheep and reindeers roaming nearby. The house was well laid out and comfortable with supplies needed for our stay. We were even able to charge our car on site. The best was the fenced yard where our dog could run free and we played frisbee for some time. We had sunny weather one day and were able to sit outside for lunch, enjoying the tranquility. Elin gave detailed good instructions for check in and directions and always responded promptly. Highly recommended!

We loved this lost cabin. When you arrive you wonder where you're going to land and suddenly, a hamlet of houses appears. This one is located at the top, with a magnificent view (and perfect for the dawn). The accommodation is very clean and cozy. Very convenient too. Of course it's a cabin, so it's a dry toilet (but comfortable), there's no running water, you have to go get it next to the house (but with a can you can last 2 days). So for this peace and quiet, it's worth it. Tor Even picked us up on arrival and helped us carry our luggage by snowmobile. The following days we did the ascent and descent (500-700 m) on foot and this is very good because the snow is packed by the snowmobiles. The place is ideally located between Alta and the North Cape, Tor Even is very welcoming and the accommodation is comfortable and peaceful. We recommend it without hesitation!

We had a very pleasant stay in Kibylodge; the house and its surroundings are lovely. Despite being spacious, the house feels comfortable and cozy, even for just two people. The amenities are well thought out, with everything you might need, and the washing machine is a particularly useful feature. The area is quiet and offers plenty of scenic spots, which are great for photography. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the premise.

So we were able to enjoy the aurora wonderfully. Small downer: the bedroom (no picture) is so small that the bed can only be climbed from one side. At night, both people are always awake when the window is leaving the bed. No closet for storing laundry The shower is built into the slope, difficult for tall people

Basically a great apartment in a good location, unfortunately not quite clean and tidy

Easy to find with a car and satnav. Sufficient parking space directly in front of the entrance to the accommodation. Sten is a nice landlord and showed me the peculiarities, e.g. the special feature of the toilet. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished, even in winter (-17 C outside) it is not cold in the accommodation. Fridge (with freezer), kitchen, bathroom, shower - everything clean and in good condition. View of the Altafjord, unfortunately a bit "overgrown" with power lines. Overall a good starting point for trips in the area around Alta. HIGHLY recommended accommodation.

Great location for ski touring and a great cabin to stay in with very friendly and helpful hosts. Perhaps the kitchen facilities were not absolutely the best but otherwise the cabin is really comfortable and spacious.

Warm and very helpful and friendly host who lent his bicycles to use whenever we wanted. It is a spacious and cozy place with ponies right outside the bay window and everything is just very relaxed. Absolutely no problems over a three weeks stay. We highly recommend Atli's place and we will definitely return.
