Great place for larger groups on a weekend - everything there for cooking etc. Everything was clean. However, you should not expect great luxury.

Nice place, quiet and relaxed location in the Sauerland!

A very nicely decorated, listed cottage in a former workers' settlement, we felt very welcome.

It was quite easy to find, the host was very kind and met us around 20:30. The place itself was spotless clean and had everything that was listed. Additionally, the kitchen, bathroom and sauna were pristine cleaned. The glass in the bathroom was so clean for a moment we thought that were was no glass. Sauna was excellent and we even started a nice little fire one day. Very peaceful with allot of opportunity for hiking and nature. And very easy connection to Dusseldorf via the train with free parking at the train station in the small town. Would go back again without a doubt.

Everything worked out great, uncomplicated and flexible. Host is super nice. Everything as described and clean. Always happy to come back.

We wanted to spend a relaxing weekend getaway with close friends and Manfred‘s house was the most ideal place to be. The house is perfectly located - away from the hustle bustle of the city and close to nature. The views from the house are splendid and the proximity to the lake is cherry on the top! Manfred is a great host, was available to communicate when we needed him. The house was clean and cozy and we felt absolutely at home here. We have great memories here and will definitely recommend and love to visit again! Thank you :)

We had a wonderful short stay in the cozy wooden house of Norbert and Rabea. The two are very friendly. Everything went smoothly, both in the previous communication and on site. We fully recommend the place. :)

The beautiful old Benke house has an incredible charm and is richly, practically and comfortably furnished. The garden is idyllic and the quiet green surroundings invite you to take beautiful walks. The bus from Recklinghausen stops right in front of the property (but we didn't hear anything from the street). The contact with Benjamin was straightforward and warm. He answered all questions promptly and is very helpful. Our children also felt very comfortable. We didn't miss anything at our family reunion and we'd love to come back any time. Highly recommended!!

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 min. walk to the nearest train station, you can get everywhere very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

We enjoyed staying with Kevin very much. We found the apartment as described, everything was clean and well maintained. Sauna and pool were a dream after a long day out on the slopes. Bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Only in the kitchen equipment we missed things such as garbage bags, pot sponge, baking paper, and were also unable to shop on Sundays. I would recommend the place at any time, and would love to come back.

We were with a large group including baby with Heleen and her husband and we loved the accommodation: spacious, sufficient toilets and bathrooms for the group size, lots of parking, opportunities to stay indoors and outdoors - we liked it very much!

Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

Great place to stay! We enjoyed all balconies and outdoor areas, the hot tub, and the apartment was very comfortable for two people. Beautiful view, nice location and very close to many activities. Hiking trails literally in the front door. Very great service and communication! Overall very satisfied ☺️

We spent some nice and quiet days with our dog Rudi during the turn of the year. The accommodation is very nicely located in the countryside, a small farm with cows is located nearby. There are beautiful opportunities for walking and hiking. Exactly the tranquility and seclusion we were looking for! Stefanie and her husband were also very friendly! Thank you for everything! We have already been here several times and that alone shows that we felt very comfortable. The cabin is well furnished and always clean. If you're looking for some peace and relaxation, this is the place to be. Hiking trails start in front of the door and if you want, you can reach sights in a short time on foot, by bike or by car. Chris and Leonie are super nice hosts and always easily accessible!

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. I stayed with Iman because of an exam at the Fern University in Hagen. The stay at Iman's was great and I felt at home from the minute I arrived. Iman and her dog are very nice and she always answered me directly or wrote me all the necessary information on her own. I'd love to come back, clear recommendation, especially for students.

We felt very comfortable in the tiny house. The host was helpful if we had any questions and suggested good hiking routes. The tiny house is in a very quiet area and on the edge of nature. Due to the cuddly soft bedding, you had a very good night's sleep to start a long hikes the next day! If we were to return to the Rothaar Mountains, we would definitely choose the tiny house again 🙂

The place was very nice and clean, hosts were very helpfull as well. When we arrived we were looking for the place to leave our bycicles, the host offered garage so we dont have to think about someone stealing it. Also we were looking for some place to eat and in notime, i got messaged with the reccomendation which was nearby. Easy communication and really felt like home.

Aggi & Lars were very friendly and likeable hosts, the apartment really nice and clean and the location a dream. We felt very comfortable with a dog and two toddlers and look forward to having the opportunity to spend our family vacation there again.
