We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A fabulous place for families or larger travelling groups. Very clean and spacious, bungalow ou the back for teens or those who want to get away from the main house. A beautiful old home with character & modern amenities. Leanne was very hospitable. Highly recommend.

Yes! Stay here! This place is great. Very comfortable and lots of space to spread out and relax. Wonderful to have a kitchen and the garden out the back is gorgeous- perfect spot to chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet. Would absolutely stay here again.

What a gem of a place! A beautiful outside deck with table and chairs to soak up the sun and the glorious view of Mount Sturgeon. The house is very well sized and had a super comfortable feel to it. We instantly felt at home. There was plenty of space for the dog to run around in. Walking into town was a nice stroll, and you can also walk to the Mount Sturgeon hike in 20 minutes. Really great place, highly recommend

Lovely stay at Heathers place. The house is in a tranquil location with amazing views. Really nice to sit and watch the sunset on the balcony watching the kangaroos in the paddock. Very peaceful location. No noise at all. Air con worked really well. Fireplace there if needed in the cold weather. Heather was very responsive throughout the booking process and during our stay. She provided great recommendations in advance. The are Nice cafes and restaurants in Dunkeld including the Parker Project which I recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay Heather.

Dunkeld House - Beautiful Country Accommodation

We had the most beautiful stay at Dunkeld House! The house was gorgeous and we felt comfortable there straight away. The kids loved the play equipment in the backyard, the board games and having lots of space and you can't beat the view from the living and kitchen window of the mountains. The bakery and Main Street were an easy walkable distance. After visiting Halls Gap for some hikes we were glad we had picked to stay in Dunkeld as it's so much quieter and relaxed but still an easy drive, so sad the perfect base. We had an amazing dinner on our last night at Parker Street Project. Jackie & Jarrod were wonderful hosts, offering lots of recommendations and were so responsive with any questions we had. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Thanks Gemma and Phil

Wow, what an amazing location. The house was very clean and spacious and had the most stunning views of nearby mountain peaks. Roo's and Emu's were in the nearby paddocks and loads of birds and wildlife. Such an amazing place to stay and relax after hiking the Grampians or just visiting the lovely little local town of Dunkeld.

This was our second stay at Craiglea and it was just as enjoyable as the first. Craiglea is a sublimely peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful homestead and surrounds. Craiglea is immaculately presented and Kerry's home made scones and home made apricot jam are simply delicious. We plan to continue to return to Craiglea in future. Just a wonderful find.

Koorayn Dunkelds peaceful hideaway

It's all about the Kangaroos!! A very cosy well equipped property. So much to love, the large bedroom, the generous supplies and treats left to eat and drink, the lava lamp - which matched the 80's decor, bicycles - but best of all was waking up and seeing through the large picture window of our bedroom the many kangaroos lounging, playfully sparring and playing mums to their joeys. Just a few minutes drive from Dunkeld meant it was our private farmland to enjoy our personal 'roos with views of Mt Sturgeon and Mt Abrupt as a backdrop.

We had a wonderful stay at Peppercorn Cottage. We were met with both warm and cold weather and the house perfectly catered to both. It was warm and cozy when the night was cold and the beds were so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. The location was very peaceful with walking tracks right outside the door and a stunning view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
