In the vicinity there are great hiking opportunities for both adults and children, but if you are of the adventurous type you can visit mountain peaks at a thousand meters. The hiking trails are just a short drive away. Boat that is perfect for fishing and other activities can be rented. If desired, bed linen and towels can be rented for NOK 125 per bed. Used items must be collected and prepared for washing.

From the cabin it is only a short walk to the playground, beach and sea life. Great hiking trails nearby. Parking just outside the cabin. Guests have access to the entire cabin except for a locked storage room.

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.

Nice nature experiences are only a short drive away and great hiking opportunities "right outside the doorstep". Driving on National Tourist Roads to Hardanger can be recommended if you want to explore the beautiful west country nature and the famous attraction Trolltunga and the spectacular Langfossen.
