An eldorado for top hiking enthusiasts with nearby peaks over 1000 meters above sea level, such as Trolltind and Åbittinden, but also great for hiking in the terrain, summer and winter. Sunndalsfjella, Trollheimen, Innerdalen, Vinnutrappa, Prestaksla, Aursjøvegen and Eikesdalen are just a short drive away.

The climbing park Høyt & Lavt on Valsøya is about 30 minutes away by car, and the nearest grocery store can be found at Halsa Fergekai, about 6 km away.
