It is not as difficult as is seems. It is a little compost toilet right outside the cabin. In the main room it is a lot of books, mainly about crafting. A sewing machine and a spinning wheel an be hired for use in the cottage.

Thank you for the lovely stay, the hassle-free check-in, the nice welcome with wine, beverage cans and snacks, the barbecue already prepared for firing up, the Swedish stove already equipped with firewood, we just had to light it ourselves, the pleasant underfloor heating, a fully equipped house with a large living room, great bathroom, large kitchen area we could use for a whole week.

Very nice little cottage right on a river/lake. The fjord is about 850 m walking distance. There is a great large terrace right on the shore with a table and seating. The terrace also serves as a jetty. The children liked to use this to jump into the water. Bathing and swimming are therefore possible. Gunnar provided us with kayaks and a rowing boat. We didn't catch any fish in the lake, but we did in the surrounding fjords. The house is really very small for five people and being together with five people in the bedroom is also adventurous. We were lucky with the weather, it was all wonderful I recommend the house without reservation. Really great small property.

Fantastic location, the cabin is amazing. Well equipped, clean and very convenient, was the best stop of our road trip in Scandinavia.

Wooden cottage near Bergen - by the seaside.

Ingrid and Martin's place is special! The cottage is enchanting, the beds pleasant, the kitchen has everything you need. From the terrace you have a breathtaking view of the fjord and with the kayak you can explore the beautiful corners of this fjords. The garden is full of blueberries for snacking, at the jetty you can sit comfortably, read, sunbathe and just listen to the waves. You can't get more Norway. Ingrid and Martin are extremely warm and nice, have lots of tips and suggestions, are always helpful and caring. We enjoyed the time with them very much.

A spacious dining area is featured, with a long wooden table surrounded by six white chairs. Large windows allow for natural light, while candles and a floral centerpiece add a touch of elegance. The warm wood tones of the flooring enhance the cozy ambiance.

Great new cabin by the sea. Perfect for families with children

We were in Morten's beautiful house in a fantastic quiet location for the first 14 days of August. Despite the abundantly humid weather, we enjoyed every minute. There were eight of us the first five days and six of us the last nine days. Even with eight people, it is spacious and comfortable. The surroundings and nature are fantastic and we fished a lot, hiked and explored the area. In the, incredibly nice, country store in Feste we rented a slightly larger boat and enjoyed the beautiful days on the fjord. We also did most of the shopping there. Morten's father Jens was particularly nice and helpful, who was always there to help and advise. Thanks for that! We didn't want to go home and would come back any time. It should also be said that the house is very well equipped and you can use everything, including the boat. And the beds are super comfortable and we slept like in seventh heaven. Thanks for the fantastic time.
