This was our second time staying at Meghan’s place and it was just as good as the first time. It’s a beautiful and peaceful setting. There is a creek running by outside, so on top of the beautiful ocean view, you get the sound of the babbling creek. The place is very cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Super location with beach access for great low tide walks. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by, a few are walking distance the rest are a short drive. Andrew's place is very quiet, nicely appointed, has everything you need, very comfortable. Highly recommend checking it out if you're coming to Parksville !

Wildwood cabins was a lovely and private getaway. Reg was super responsive to all of our questions and has maintained a space that is a beautiful retreat. It’s perfectly dog-friendly (on leash) and within a short drive of everything you’d like to do on the weekend. A couple of notes: I’d recommend bringing your own ground coffee for the MOKA pot (what is provided runs out quick), and only a few groceries for breakfast/lunch due to the small fridge. Otherwise, you’ll have everything you need on site. Enjoy your island stay!

My partner and our children reserved this lovely home for a retirement celebration with our in laws. The home was spacious for all six of us and our family dog and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The home is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely views from all the front windows. It's rustic yet modernized layout and structure made it the perfect place to cozy up together or spread out and enjoy some quiet time separately. It's location is close enough to many trails and beach access points to get out and explore. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were definitely a highlight for our Spring trip and did not disappoint.

We spent three nights here over the Easter weekend, arriving in dire need of some uncomplicated R&R and beauty - and we found it! Margo's suite was perfect for our small family of three - a giant and comfortable king bed and curtained off bunkbed for our teenager for sleeping, and a clean and comfy space for cooking and living. We soaked up the beautiful spring garden off the covered patio space and the stunning water views beyond - and also spent time down the steep pathway to the deck and garden bordering the beach below. We also squeezed in some Powell River things: local hiking, a leisurely sunset walk at Willingdon Beach, take-out from Little Hut Curry, cocktails and dinner at Costa Del Sol, and a flick at the epic Patricia Theatre. Margo and her husband were very responsive to our questions and kindly offered ideas to make our stay more comfortable. Recommend.

Everything with our stay was wonderful. It was so nice to be welcomed to our room with a couple of waters and pops in the fridge and snacks on the counter. That extra little gesture goes a long way as did the coffee station goodies for our mornings! The to-go cups were the bomb!! Will definitely be booking here again! Condo was clean, quiet, and comfy!

This place was great for me and my friends!! We stayed for Taylor Swift’s concert because hotel prices were too much in the city so we did have the 1 hour commute each day but the views were gorgeous on the drive. Location is also super close to Squamish which had a Walmart and there’s lots of nature stops to see. The parking was great for the two cars we had. The heater worked really well and there were enough supplies in the kitchen for what we needed! The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels for us! We never used the washer or dryer. There also were extra blankets for everyone which was great because the weather was colder. I would definitely recommend this location for bigger groups because there was enough space for all of us and it has gorgeous views as long as you don’t mind the drive from the city.

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

A lovely tranquil space with a large deck looking out to sea. Beautiful details, wooden finishing, and lots of character in the room. There were thoughtful details such as lots of towels, some tea bags and coffee. It was very peaceful and quiet and a short walk to the beach. Charlie was very responsive and is a warm and welcoming host.
