Jamil’s place- theTreehouse Cabin Retreat- is a hidden gem nestled on beautiful acreage with a wealth of amenities, and is without a doubt THE best treehouse and cabin experience we have ever had on Airbnb! The treehouse and hidden nook are truly magical, the cabin is super charming with its intricate carpentry and woodwork, and the surrounding campgrounds are equipped with every convenience imaginable for the uninterrupted tranquility of a perfect family getaway. My professionally trained working dogs loved the acreage, and my Belgian Malinois enjoyed the tracking games we were able to play with all of the space. My 6yo niece loved the variety of board and outdoor games. My family and I cherished the time spent around the campfire, and of course, made s'mores! The beds and linens were comfortable, laundry soap and dryer sheets were provided, and the nostalgia from DVD or VHS movie choices are unmatched! 5 stars, a Top 1% Airbnb property, book your stay- you won't regret it!!

I will say that this rental was above and beyond exspections andi will definitely come again and again. loved the privacy and the location. clean, and more than a bargain. I wish all rental were as amazing as this one. thanks a million Ashley and Alex. I was awesome

We stayed for a week in this peaceful, scenic setting. Every bay-facing room has a view, and the screened porch was perfect for sunrise coffee. The bed was very comfortable. I cooked most dinners in the decently stocked kitchen. (If you love your prep knives, bring them.) It’s 30 min. to Walmart—great tackle selection at great prices. The tap water is salty but didn’t leave my hair feeling beachy or sticky. Lots of drinking water is provided. The handheld shower was awkward for my 5'10" husband, but fine for 5'1" me. Parking across the street deep enough for our RAM + trailer with kayaks and wide enough for two vehicles, but watch for poison ivy around the edges! Bring bug spray. Kayaks were an easy launch from the beach. Fishing was good, not epic (spotted trout & redfish). Best results were at oyster bars east of the beach. There were lots of birds and a family of wild pigs we watched for at twilight. Ultimately, our trip was beautiful and peaceful, and we had fun.

We wanted a quiet weekend getaway for the family and this house was perfect! Beds were comfortable, house was spacious and the setting was serene. We would definitely go back!

We absolutely loved staying here. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There were springs all around the area to visit. We enjoyed the privacy and the beautiful night skies. The cows next door were a treat to watch, an added bonus I would say. I hope to stay here again one day!

This was a last minute booking as I was traveling through the area. I had the thought that if I could find something that looked peaceful & quiet then I’d go ahead and stay a couple days… Boy! This wonderful cottage did not disappoint at all!!! I ended up booking a couple more days :) Very private, very peaceful, & very beautiful!!! I won’t go on too much about this place since it very much matches the description in the listing but I will point out a couple quick highlights that are of some importance… 1) There is a local service station right up the street with a grill on site which does a fantastic job for lunch & breakfast and the general store has just about anything you’d need to tie you over if you’ve forgotten anything… 2) The wifi at this property is great! This is a huge plus considering where it’s located!!! I highly recommend this beautiful & peaceful little cottage near the water and I will definitely be back again in the near future!!! We LOVED this log cabin right on the Swanee River. It was peaceful, clean, close to all the natural spring state parks. I was surprised as to how dog friendly this host was. Our Dakota loved running all over outside and being free. We got to see 8 deer in the front of the house right before sunset. Elaine the neighbor was super friendly and always near if you had a question as well as the host Andrea. We will definitely stay here again. There is even a closed in back screened patio with ceiling fans overlooking the river. We also had 2 bonfires and the temp was 65 degrees at night. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We will be back for sure ❤️
