We spent a long weekend with a larger group at Ann-Catrin and Nigel's and felt completely comfortable. The two are great hosts: warm, helpful and very attentive. The house is brand new, built entirely of wood, which creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere. It is very comfortable, perfectly equipped and everything was absolutely clean and well maintained. As it is a wooden house, it is a little noisy, but this fits well with the character of the house and did not bother us. The garden was great for the kids. They could play there and let off steam. The surroundings with fields, meadows and small allotment gardens were also ideal for relaxing walks and small exploration tours. If we meet again in the middle of Germany, then we would love to come back here. We highly recommend the space and hosts. Thank you for the wonderful time, Ann-Catrin and Nigel!

I was with my mother and my little son for a short vacation at Steinhuder Meer and we felt very comfortable at the place! Everything new, modern, clean and practically furnished. Good location, large garden, all around good. We would come back!

We (4 adults) felt completely comfortable. The house is cozy and clean and equipped with everything you need. We especially enjoyed the tranquility and idyll on the terrace and in the garden. The Steinhuder Meer invites you to many activities in the immediate vicinity. The contact with Dorit was very good and straightforward. In a nutshell: It was beautiful and we would love to come back. Brigitte is a great hostess - everything was impeccably clean, very well organized, stylish, modern with newly renovated bathroom. It has a magical garden that makes you feel like you've landed in an enchanted cottage garden oasis. The exchange with her was just as harmonious, beautiful and she was very helpful. The place was very nice and quietly located, ideal for unplugging. We particularly liked the large garden. Carl was a very nice and attentive host. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime.

I enjoyed the stay, the pool was clean and right outside the door. I visited Marienburg Castle, which was easily accessible on foot. Shopping facilities were within easy reach. A great first experience with Airbnb for me.

Beautiful, small accommodation. We were able to check in with the dogs and they were allowed to use the garden fully, which we had all to ourselves in the evening. Good accessibility, quiet environment, dog-friendly and very clean. Nicole is very friendly and attentive to the guest.

Ines' accommodation is located in a huge residential complex directly on the Steinhuder Meer. Kindly, the host has put together a very detailed instruction, so you can easily find the apartment. Everything was very clean, the covered balcony is a great plus! Right in front of the building you have your own parking area. If you are traveling by public transport, you have a bus stop right outside the front door. The water is only a few minutes' walk away. I felt very comfortable in the accommodation, which despite its small size has everything you need.

It is a nice quiet place in the country. Within walking distance to Lemgo. A short drive to Detmold.

Both hosts are super friendly and accommodating. The area is wonderful for walks with dogs. Despite the small size, there is nothing missing in the apartment. It is well furnished and contains many small touches. Personally, the bed in the attic was too cramped for me and I switched to the sofa bed. :)

We were very satisfied with the beautiful place. Everything is in top condition and the furnishings are great. Nothing is missing. We will be happy to come back! 🙂

The check in was punctual and smooth. The apartment was as described, nicely decorated and clean. Everything you need is available. Communication with Carsten was always very good. I felt very comfortable and like to come back.

A well-maintained cottage. Everything is provided, from towels to coffee cubes. A wonderful place from which you can walk straight into nature. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. We were received very hospitably by Sylke and Dirk. Highly recommended!
