The Bird House is a tucked away sanctuary on a working farm. Bountiful fishing in the pond - just out the back door. Beautiful sunrises over a Chesapeake tributary-out the front door! A wonderful sun deck with cushioned chaises. We enjoyed visiting with the horses, chickens and cattle. So much to see and experience. We saw butterflies, rabbits, heard very loud frog harmonies, a happy couple of geese, turkeys, and lots and lots of deer. The Bird House was a wonderful place to unwind, slow down and enjoy nature. The furnishings were extremely comfortable and well thought out. Thank you for sharing such a magical place.

Michael was very kind and responsive. He was flexible and accommodated a last minute added guest. Space is cute and intimate, perfect for a quiet weekend on the bay.

The place was immaculate, and everything was in working order. The property is beautiful. I will stay there again next time I come to town.

Truly such a beautiful property! The Weaver Cottage was clean, cozy, and absolutely peaceful. I felt safe and right at home from the moment I arrived. I enjoyed early morning walks around the farm, water views and nature under warm outdoor lights as I cozied up with a book in the evenings, and was met with friendless and wonderful hospitality while I had a tour of the manor house and during the entire stay. During the day, I enjoyed exploring the eastern shore with ease. It was exactly the kind of getaway I needed. I hope to return someday!
