Gretha and Ali were incredible hosts to us for our first few nights of our Norway trip. The location is ideal and central to everything . It’s walkable from the end of the light rail in town and to the Havila terminal. Great advice on things to do and places to eat and visit. A great sunny spot and quietly tucked away. I’ll stay here if I ever return to Bergen.

Sissel's place in Bergen was absolutely perfect. The location is close to everything, yet far enough to avoid the typical tourist buzz. The apartment itself exceeded our expectations—it's even better than in the pictures, with stunning high ceilings, large windows, and a fantastic sound system. Highly recommended!

Great house and host! Thoughtful gifts and considerate and attentive We came from Sweden and found that we loved Norway and Bergen so much. We just happened to be there during the college students' carnival week and everything was a pleasant surprise. Love it!

We really enjoyed this location and could walk everywhere we needed to go in the downtown Bergen vicinity. It is very easy to reach with our roller luggage from the end of the light rail station, if you are arriving from the airport. It's central to so many locations, but felt a little off the busy streets too. It is close enough that you could walk with your luggage down to the Havila ferry dock too. The host was extremely communicative and we appreciated their quick responses when we had some questions.

Wonderful little apartment in a very convenient location in the city centre. Marita met us for check-in an explained everything perfectly. The place is as described and pictured. Quiet and cozy and good to have an elevator up to the top floor. The balcony is a nice touch. Once out of the front door and around the first corner you are in the thick of everything in downtown Bergen. Tomas and Marita are wonderful hosts and their apartment is an absolute credit to them. We will return.

Perfect apartment for our stay! My son and I were in Bergen for a quick two nights, and Tobias's apartment was perfect. We were only sad that we couldn't stay longer. It was walkable from the train station, a lovely little community, we were able to find a place to eat nearby on our late arrival, and easy to walk to all of the other destinations we had planned. The two bedroom apartment was a perfect getaway for the two of us where we both had privacy. Lovely view from the living room into the courtyard with the mountain in the background. Tobias was very responsive, and helpful with my questions, including sending a link to book a taxi to the airport. Flawless stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

This was an excellent apartment to base ourselves from to visit Bergen. It was so easy to walk to everything, only 12 minutes from Bryggen. There are several supermarkets nearby and it was very close to the main train station. The bed was so cosy and you get a beautiful view of the rooftops, mountains and the Ulriken cable car from bed. There was a double wardrobe to put all our clothes into as well, so we felt more at home. The livingroom is perfect with a huge double couch with views to the Fløyen mountain top- you can even see the funicular going up and down. The kitchen is small but has everything we needed to cook dinner there. It also has a full sized fridge and freezer which is handy! The coffee and tea station is beautifully set up and we had filter coffee every morning. The communication was fantastic, you will get a quick and friendly response. The only thing to note is that being in the uni district it can be a little noisy on a Saturday night, but it wasn't an issue for us

Hege is a very nice and friendly host. The place is great, it’s cozy, clean, comfortable, with a nice water view. We enjoyed our stay, and we definitely recommend Hege’s place!

this was a lovely apartment that gave us a taste of how Norwegians live. It was a very quiet residential neighborhood that wasn't touristy.

Very nice house. Absolutely comfortable. Felt like at home. Cecilie was very kind to allow me late check out. She also helped me to park my car for 10 days before my check in date (when I went for 10 days cruise from Bergen).

The place was clean, modern and very well located. Kevin was a great host – always quickly accessible and helpful. I felt completely comfortable. Clear recommendation!

Lovely apartment with picture postcard views

Christen is unlike any other host. He met me at the bus stop and helped me with the luggage. He has a handwritten book of recommendations on where to eat and what to do, along with helpful instructions for the stay. He had left a bottle of wine, and cookies and coffee for me, which was very thoughtful. The place is super walkable to the city centre and the tour/airport bus stops. While central, it’s also tucked away from all the city centre madness and thereby offers a quiet and relaxing place to stay after a busy day of exploring the beauty of Norway. Christen was very friendly, flexible and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a central place to stay in Bergen (as long as they don’t mind climbing up a few flight of stairs). Thanks for the lovely time in Bergen, Christen! Hope to stay here again when my travels bring me back to the incredibly beautiful city of Bergen. :) Cheers!

Ann is a great host. The apartment is absolutely stunning with a mesmerising view of the mountains. Its a pristine surrounding. With the mountains staring right outside the balcony what else do you need for a vacation! It was an amazing experience alltogether. The apartment is well organised and very clean. If I ever again come in Bergen, I would want to stay here. Highly recommended to anyone coming to Bergen, the city of seven mountains!

We’re so glad we chose this Airbnb. Location was perfect; scenic and quiet at the end of each busy day of exploring. Very close to everything: historic area, restaurants, museums and ferries- even a grocery store nearby. The apartment was so clean, comfortable and modern. We loved it! And thanks to our hosts, who were very responsive!

Sindre's apartment in Bergen was everything we hoped for and more! It's in such a lovely part of the city, and was very walkable to everything. It was also nice and quiet up top in the building, and the upstairs patio was an added bonus. The kitchen was also very well stocked, although we didn't use it all that much. The only thing to note (as some others have) is the many stairs that it takes to get up - just worth knowing in case you have heavy luggage, etc. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and cozy stay!

The apartment is located is at 5 mins walk away from the harbour with groceries store nearby. Apartment is clean, stylish and cosy. Marius is very communicative regarding when we asked him questions. Overall would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at Havard’s place. The house is in the hills with beautiful views and is so well equipped and comfortable. You will need a car; Harvard provides a charging station. We found it easy to drive 8mins to the local village and catch a bus to the centre of Bergen. We didn’t have to wait more than 4mins for a bus which then takes 15mins to the Bryggen area. We enjoyed a couple of local walks from the house; there is the potential for longer hikes. We purchased 48hr Bergen Cards; but didn’t get the value from them so we wouldn’t recommend them. We have no hesitation in recommending this AirBnB.

We really loved staying at Asbjørn's apartment. He's a proactive communicator and accommodating host; getting around instructions and other recommendations were helpful! The apartment was clean on arrival, very comfortable and quiet. Located in good neighborhood and is close to the light rail, grocery, and restaurants!
