The holiday home is a fantastic symbiosis of history and modernity! A several hundred year old house with romantic charm has been combined here with the amenities of today: underfloor heating, modern kitchen, dimmable light. Really great! In addition, the great location in the middle of the old town, very quiet and with a great park right outside the door. Everything was clean and super equipped. Even fresh tulips were at the table! In addition, Marina arranged a bike rental for us - a great service! We rarely had such a great vacation rental!

We were with 14 people in the Suffelmühle over Easter. We enjoyed the time together very much while cooking, eating, playing, walking. Great area with castles nearby. Very quiet and peaceful. Thank you, Inga, for the beautiful hostel!

Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

We had a very nice weekend among friends here. The house is cozy and very well equipped for cooking together. The rooms and beds were very clean and everything was in very good condition. We will be happy to come back.

Great place for larger groups on a weekend - everything there for cooking etc. Everything was clean. However, you should not expect great luxury.

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

Karin welcomed me very warmly. She is a great hostess and the stay was nice and uncomplicated. Her husband is also very friendly and the welcome by the dogs is heartwarming I can only recommend it 😃

We had booked a 4-day stay and wanted to celebrate Christmas with the family near the accommodation. But then everything changed. Thanks to Heike's flexibility and understanding, we were able to spend a relaxing time in the beautiful apartment (decorated with a lot of love, for every little detail). Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

Excellent accommodation in quiet and beautiful surroundings.

The bungalow is just beautiful and above all absolutely comfortable. We felt right at home, nothing was missing. The hosts were always available and absolutely friendly in exchange. The location is great, you just have to cross the road and are right in the forest. All hiking trails are easily accessible on foot or in a short distance by car. A beautiful place to immerse yourself in nature and escape the big city 😊 it was a wonderful short trip! 🤗

Those who want to be quiet and beautiful are in good hands there. We had 2 wonderful days at this house with 3 kids and dog. Great and very tastefully decorated...

We spent a few days in the area to look at Hameln, the Externsteine and the Hermann Monument. The house is comfortably furnished and clean, it has everything you need. Beautiful large outdoor area for use, with grill and seating. Despite the location in the holiday park, it is a quiet location and relaxed atmosphere.

We spent the holidays in Dissen and the apartment was great! Everything was perfectly maintained, superbly furnished and clean. Communication was also very good.

My partner, our dog and I had a wonderful weekend in Horn-Bad-Meinberg. The place was exactly as advertised, we felt very comfortable and we didn't miss anything. Many attractions are not too far away. The quiet location of the accommodation was perfect to escape the ordinary, we were awakened in the morning by birds chirping, it was all perfect. Thank you ☺️

We had a great stay at Michael's "super cozy" place! The accommodation is furnished with a lot of love for detail, super equipped (kitchen, technology, light - everything great!) and simply invites you to feel good. Especially nice: the large terrace and the huge garden with barbecue! Despite the central location, you are completely undisturbed and have the whole cottage to yourself. Michael is a great host: helpful and responsive. I found the personal YouTube videos in advance very helpful and likeable. All in all, a really great place with character - we will be happy to come back!

Alfons and Pamela have created a wonderful place with their house in Mettingen, where you immediately feel comfortable. We spent Easter there with the extended family and it was just perfect: plenty of space, lovingly decorated and with a fantastic garden that invites you to linger. Even in the rain, it is wonderfully cozy inside, and there are many beautiful excursion destinations in the area – so there is no boredom. Alfons and Pamela gave us great tips that enriched our stay even more. Thank you for this relaxing time, the nice communication even in advance and the beautiful Easter in Mettingen. We can only warmly recommend it!
