Beachfront vacation rentals in Gulf Highlands

This was an amazing condo for our vacation! It had great access to the beach while being a little further down from the more busy beaches and stuff on the gulf shores strip! We were still within 10-20 minutes of anything we wanted to do! All the amenities were great and we had to buy very little for our stay!

If you’re looking for a DREAM beach stay, book now! This place is 10 out of 10 with spacious rooms & living room. Lots of blankets to cuddle up with & extra towels for showers. All the beds were nice & comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of silverware, bowls, & any dish you need to cook - we really appreciated this! Wonderful view of the beach with several spots on the upper or lower balconies to rest/relax. Also used the outdoor shower to rinse sand off too. You’re right on the beach so lots of nice views, we actually saw dolphins most days we were there. The hosts are a sweet & genuine couple who are invested in guests having the best vacation ever experience! We will for sure be looking at renting this place again in the future.

Home was exactly as advertised. The beach was closer than anticipated and easily done with a 1 & 2 year old in tote, it also was private which was extremely nice. Back porch was a great hangout area for small kids. As a parent with small children I appreciated the cabinets having child proof locks on them. Can’t express enough how much we enjoyed Cabana Pearl!

We had a wonderful time at the beach. The house was great and very close to the beach. The pool was also a great feature.

"Mahalo" was a great home and you could tell it is well cared for. The pictures truly represented the home (I actually think it seemed bigger once we were there). We loved the location of the home, the privacy, the neighborhood, amenities, coziness of the home, and convenience to the beach. We spent every morning sipping coffee and listening to the ocean from the private front porch, then would walk right down to the beach with our dog! The hosts were all great, friendly, and very accommodating. I told them we would be in around 2 am, and they had the lights on for us when we arrived! We wouldn't hesitate to go back and stay at Mahalo or any of their other properties!

Just a 10 minute walk to a private beach, intended for residents and their guests. We specifically chose this airbnb for the value and pet friendly accommodations, walkable to the beach. This checked all the boxes! I have an older dog and we wanted him to be able to see the beach, as a bucket list item. We had a great time! Anna was great at communicating and even going above and beyond by returning a couple of forgotten jackets. Also- check out Jesse’s on the Bay for a delicious meal- we went twice. Great stay! We’d gladly stay here again. Thank you Anna!

It was perfect! Very close to the beach as I am 8 months pregnant. The house is super cute and did its job! The outdoor shower was great as well! We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings and early mornings! My husband even was able to catch a shark on the beach! Jonathan was more than accommodating! We will definitely be back with our family again soon!

Absolutely gorgeous beach house, steps from the beach. Less of a walk to the beach than any condo bldg we have ever stayed in. Perfect location, out of the hustle and bustle of downtown. My son loved the putt putt course under the house. Two outdoor showers were a tremendous plus. Gorgeous beach view from inside and outside of the house. Huge deck for family lounging. Perfect neighborhood!! House and Beach are both dog friendly which made our vacation so much less stressful. Roseanne was extremely helpful and checked in to make sure the house was as described!! Definitely saving this one for our next trip to the gulf shores/fort Morgan area!

Our stay was wonderful! Kim is so responsive and very accommodating. She made it very easy for us to get in touch/ask questions. The place was beautiful and very relaxing!

Stop scrolling and book it! This incredible home on the beach is the most idealistic spot we've ever stayed in. Right on the beach, with every amenity, and detail you could hope for. From beach chairs and umbrellas, to toys and bicycles all included. This home was full of pleasant surprises. The home is immaculate, and perfect for a family vacation. The hosts were the best we've ever had, responsive, friendly, proactive to give recommendations. My family couldn't have asked for more.

We very much enjoyed the relaxing, not as crowded location of the condo. Short walk to waters edge with plenty of room to set up chairs or rental options. Would stay again!

This place was one of the best! No trouble checking in or out. The location is write next to two pools and the hot tub. Also, very close to the boardwalk to the beach. Every time I plan a vacation, I want to come back here!

The location was perfect! It’s about a 20 minute drive to town but so worth it. The beaches here are not as crowded and made for a great trip for us, especially with a 4 years old. The condo was a great size for us (2 adults and one child).

Great 3 day trip to the beach! Came for my fiancés birthday with another couple and was enough space for us. Dana was very accommodating/quickly responsive with whatever we needed, let us check in early and offered an extra night for a discounted price. Small, private place, but was great for 4 adults and access to the beach. Clean and put together nice. Highly recommend if you are looking for a low-key place out of the big town.

This was a great place to stay for the week. My husband and I enjoyed every day we were there. We liked that it was quiet and less traffic than staying right in town. The condo was everything we needed/wanted and the amenities were amazing! It was close enough to everything we wanted to do. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone!

This was the perfect place for our 25th Anniversary and family trip. When we arrived in the condo, the first thing we saw was the ocean. The view was so wonderful. You can hear the sound of the waves and watch dolphins swimming! The condo itself is comfortable and everything you need is there. Well stocked kitchen and beach items to use to make the most of your ocean time! The communication from the owner is just great! Gulf Shores, it is some kind of paradise with it slow life rhythm, the great beaches, restaurants, the best shrimp around! This trip went above our expectations!

We discovered a hidden gem! What a delightful stay for everyone. There is a ramp on one side of the house that made bringing our luggage in a breeze. The view of the dunes and beach was nice each morning as we sat outside and sipped our coffee. There was even some wildlife to watch. Once at the beach, it couldn't get any better. Very few people, a gentle slope into the ocean and plenty of soft white gulf coast sand to put our chairs in! As mentioned by others, Heather is a very responsive host. Making sure each guest has what they may need. The layout of the house made it for easy for all boasting very comfortable bedrooms that were away from the commotion of the common spaces. There are sand chairs available as well as a wagon if you would like help bringing your toys to the beach. There is a slight walk to the beach but not on we ever had to dread making. Already looking at another week in 2026 to return!

Wonderful house right on the sand! Sit in the living room while looking at the ocean! Has everything you need including beach accessories. Great for families or friends.

We had such a good stay at Sands of Time! We went a little over budget to rent a house on the beach knowing it would likely be easier with children. We were not disappointed and would do it all over again. It was easy for us to set up our tent and chairs while the kids were still snoozing, we enjoyed coffee on the deck while watching dolphins move across the gulf, we were able to rinse off and eat a sandwich in the a/c instead of having SANDwiches. It was so convenient. The kids had a BLAST. We were able to all relax in the spacious living room one day while rain kept us off the beach, too. Check in and out was very easy, there wasn’t ridiculous requests for checkout or tasks during our stay. We truly enjoyed this house and will be back for years to come! The location was super ideal with a short drive (15 min) to several great restaurants, but also out of the hustle and bustle. I could go on and on about all the things I loved about this place!

Robert’s place was really nice and clean! Much less people at the beach in Fort Morgan. We had a great time!

We loved staying at the Blue Sand Dollar for our week in Gulf Shores! The condo was clean, spacious and had great beach gear we really needed! A very underrated perk were the amount of hooks in every room to hang up towels, swimsuits etc! I’m going to be spoiled now for other beach getaways!

Stacey’s place was a great stay for our week in Fort Morgan. We have a family of 7 with a toddler and she accommodated an early check in for us. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. You must get the golf cart as it was essential for our trip and for hauling things to and from the beach. Overall, it was a fabulous stay.

Very comfortable place for 2. We loved the balcony, especially. You can see and hear the ocean. Very peaceful and relaxing. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

The kids and I really enjoyed the place. It was our first time staying in Fort Morgan. Not having all the restaurants and stores nearby was different for us but we had a great time with all there was to do in the complex with indoor and outdoor pool, great beach access on the boardwalk, and fun tennis and pickleball courts. The condo seemed like the perfect size and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. TVs were a little tricky for us to figure out and maybe could use a few more soup type spoons but that’s really minor stuff. Still a great time celebrating my birthday which I otherwise was dreading :)
