Willow Cottage nestled twixt coast and moorland

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had such a wonderful stay at Steves place. The setting is beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather. My sister and I stayed with our 4 kids and there was so much outdoor space for them to play and it's great having all the animals around. The house was clean and hot tub nice and hot which you don't always get staying in these places. What really made this place so good was the host. From.the moment we arrived Steve made us feel like he really wanted us to enjoy ourselves and he was so friendly, chilled and helpful throughout our stay. We tried to stay longer but unfortunately it was booked up. We would definitely book again.

3 Railway Cottage Pickering , Hot Tub, Pets all'd

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

Ivy Cottage, 3 bedrooms with hot tub+games room

JakeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Jane met us on arrival, explained everything, then left us to chill out. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were a lovely gesture and were much appreciated. The cottage was spotless and felt extremely homely. We very much enjoyed the games room and enclosed hot tub. The garden areas were vast with lots of outdoor furniture. We enjoyed a lovely ice cream at Archers ice cream parlour (10 min walk) and experienced both pubs in nearby Heighington, very friendly, great food and service in the George & Dragon. Another recommendation is the nearby Raby castle, definitely a worthwhile visit. We definitely recommend staying at Ivy cottage and look forward to returning there again. Thank you Jane.

Orchard House, luxury cottage retreat.

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wow! What a find! The house is stunningly situated amongst amazing views and surrounded by nature and wildlife. We loved looking out across the hills from the hot tub and playing in the field in front of the house and on the swings down by the pond. The village is in close walking distance even with a 3 year old in tow. The cottage itself feels special with beautiful wooden furniture which I assume comes from the timber farm it’s on. The rooms are spacious yet have that cosy cottage feel. The hosts are friendly, responsive and helpful without being intrusive - they were on hand as and when we needed them. Overall, a wonderful 2 night break was enjoyed and we would love to stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Old Jack’s, small (as expected) but cosy and in a great location just over the footbridge from the cafes, pubs & shops on the cobbled streets of Staithes. Super views over the village (wonderful sunrise over the harbour on our sunny day) and a lovely, peaceful place to stay.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and had helpful information on the surrounding area. The cottage was very clean and homely. Pub within walking distance just across the bridge in the village. The cottage was exactly as described and location is perfect to get to Whitby! Even though there is no parking directly outside we found it easy to park and it is on a main road but this didn’t bother us at all and didn’t affect our sleep etc. The house has a lovely enclosed back space which was perfect for us/our dog and the kitchen had everything we needed. All in all, a great stay!

Forge Cottage - cosy beach cottage

MarieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had such a lovely time staying in this beautiful Airbnb in Robin Hood’s Bay. The location was perfect - picturesque, and just a short walk to everything we needed. Mark and Aaron’s home is spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a real home from home. Communication was excellent throughout, and we felt truly looked after. We wouldn’t hesitate to return, actually we will return - thank you for a wonderful stay!

Horseshoe cottage, 1 bed, ground floor living

PhilipRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Zoe is a terrific host and The Horseshoe is a perfect quiet getaway for two. Being single storey it is a boon for those with some limited mobility, unable to manage steps, but not for wheelchair users. It suited my wife fine. We stayed for eight nights and after an initial hiccup with the Internet (service provider at fault, dealt with swiftly an efficiently by Zoe) we settled in comfortably and enjoyed our stay very much. The nearby town of Pickering has many attractions and for essential shopping there is a Spar supermarket attached to a nearby service station. On a quirky note, while walking around Wrelton we spotted eggs for sale with an honesty box - very fresh, including two double yolkers. 😁. We didn't take advantage of the nearby pub but it seems popular and has a good menu. All in all, we thoroughly recommend Zoe's holiday lets.
