Brad is a wonderful host and the place was a dream. He was super communicative throughout and gave great recommendations for what do see and do. The view, price, house, and great host made everything worth it. Lots of birds (including toucans and parakeets) easy to spot from the house (especially the backyard), and the front porch is a dream. As soon as we got there, we saw the brightest, most intense and beautiful rainbow we'd ever seen. Had a great time!

Wish we could have stayed longer! Rick and Ashley were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The place was so beautiful and peaceful with such thoughtful touches and amenities like local fruit, snacks, and cold drinks. The location was also so convenient! Some of the best hosts I’ve experienced. Highly highly recommend!

The house that they have painstakingly built together and the garden it sits in pays homage to the fact that they are truly authentic artists. The house is a masterpiece of courage, confidence and dedicated vision. This discipline is reflected in Juan’s paintings too. He has worked hard for decades honing his craft and has reached a status of rare accomplishment, while retaining an air of genuine humility and graciousness. The World needs more people of this ilk and therefore I would encourage anyone interested in art and a free spirited lifestyle to visit their unique and beautiful home where the indoors and the outdoors live symbiotically in perfect harmony.

Can’t really put in to words how much we enjoyed our stay at Jim’s place! It’s a little slice of heaven. The property is located on the top of the hill tucked away in the most peaceful and beautiful location. Jim was amazing providing clear directions and plenty of great recommendations for food and activities in the area. He checked in frequently to ensure that we good and that we had everything that we needed. Hairo and Devin were super friendly and it was comforting knowing they were there to help with anything we may have needed. We enjoyed being on the farm with all the animals. The house was so cozy and relaxing and looks exactly like the photos. We are so happy that we chose to stay here and I would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Johanna's place. She was a great host and made us feel right at home. She was very helpful and caring. We enjoyed her daily visits when she answered any questions we had and helped us identify birds we saw. The house and grounds were lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the sounds of nature.

The river was awesome and the private stairs giving access to the river was amazing. The house had everything we needed and Anisa was extremely helpful and accommodating. We hope to be back one day!

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir waren eine Nacht dort. Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen, man ist ganz für sich alleine. Die Aussicht ins grüne ist wunderbar, am Abend konnten wir sogar Tucan aus dem Fenster beobachten. Vor Ort hat es alles was man benötigt.

Thank you Debbie and Royce! Had a great time exploring the farm and the surrounding area - beautiful house in a truly remote spot to really feel true Costa Rica lifestyle, beautiful volcano views. Place is a little hard to get to but talking to Debbie was very easy and the directions were very clear, always fast response. Will definitely be back! Hope next time (I'll be back in about a year) you have those baby goats you were talking about.

My wife and I and the 2 kids spent one night, but wish we had more time. Definitely one of the most unique B&Bs we’ve stayed in. Beautiful surroundings and right at the river that was very clean and safe to swim in the river’s pools. The kitchen area is open air but covered so rain isn’t an issue. They provide everything you need. Although there isn’t AC we all still slept well. It’s located at the bottom of a small hill with the owner’s home at the top so they’re very reachable if needed. There are neighbours close by but it still felt very private. There’s a soda within walking distance but you’ll need a car to reach most things. The owners are lovely and very helpful. If you’re looking for character and tranquility I’d recommend it.

Este lugar es perfecto para recargar energias sin internet ni tv...usted se desconecta y empieza a ver Las aves y animalitos salvages. se duerme delicioso y no hay tantos mosquitos. la cocina es pequen̈ita pero funciona ... la refri es pequen̈a y la luz a veces se va en occasions. el ban̈o funciona perfecto con buena Agua. el camino esta rudo..pero mejor llegar primero por el.lado del patque tenorio ..de ahi son como 20 min . Hay una pulperia cerca las birras estan en 1000 colones . Nosotros tuvimos gran tiempo ...

El alojamiento está en una ubicacion super tranquila, ideal para descansar unos días lejos de la Ciudad como lo fue en mi caso. La cocina está muy bien equipada y las camas son muy cómodas. El jardín está precioso y el rancho y área de BBQ está excelente para pasar una noche con amigos. Igualmente queda cerca de diferentes actividades en la zona como Río Celeste. Carol nos dio muchas recomendaciones y estuvo atenta en caso de que tuviéramos alguna pregunta.

Disfrutamos mucho de las caminatas nocturnas por la zona, muy tranquila y segura. Además, ¡tuvimos la suerte de ver un perezoso en un árbol cercano! Sin duda, un lugar para desconectarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Súper recomendado.

Great location 👌 We were walking distance to several restaurants. A short minute to two minute drive from downtown, totally walkable but I preferred to drive. Far enough from downtown to enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to totally walk! The perfect location to every activity possible! The place was very comfortable with AC and a private jacuzzi after a long day. Loved that we could order breakfast, totally saved us time when starting our day! Breakfast delivered at the time we ordered the previous day. Definitely recommend this place, the hosts were amazing and gave us great tips and options!!! ❤️

Rebeca fue muy amable! Cuando llegué al hospedaje fue mejor que las fotos, la cocina muy limpia, baño impecable, las ropa de cama muy limpia y olía muy bien, este último punto cuesta mucho que se aplique en otros lugares cuando uno se hospeda solo por una noche (como en mi caso). Súper céntrico y cómodo! Mi recomendación: no lo pienses más! Este es definitivamente el lugar que tienes que reserva en La Fortuna Centro! Cuando tenga la oportunidad me voy a volver a hospedar aquí definitivamente!

El lugar es muy limpio y la zona tiene mucha privacidad y se siente segura. Nuestro anfitrión John fue muy atento, la comunicación fue excelente. Nos asesoró y gestionó actividades y excursiones muy bien, así que no duden en consultarle y contratar a través suyo. Super recomendable para una estadía en este lugar maravilloso llamado La Fortuna.

Me parecio de los mejores lugares que me he hospedado usando la aplicacion. Las instrucciones de la casa fueron muy utiles para la entrada y salida, ademas de que siempre se agradece las recomendaciones de la zona. El apartamento esta super bien equipado, y de verdad que en fotos se ve bonito pero en persona es muchisimo mejor. Definitivamente si vuelvo a la Fortuna, me hospedare nuevamente aqui!

We loved how close to town we were but still seemed private and secluded! The area was calm and quiet we loved having breakfast outside our cabin! The area surrounding was stunning the inside was spotless !!! We also met their friendly little kitten! Place was awesome can’t stop thinking about it can’t wait for the next time we are in La Fortuna.!

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

Modern place with great view. Deyanira and Gustavo were very good hosts! They made sure we didn't miss anything. They even suggested activities nearby. Highly recommended.

Her får en mye for pengene. Leiligheten vi bodde i var fin. Den lå fredelig til. Ingen støy. Samtidig en kort spasertur til sentrum. En god restaurant like ved. Området hadde god trygg parkering. Jeg vil definitivt anbefale dette stedet. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake. Det beste stedet jeg har bodd på i La Fortuna. Kan anbefales. Aircondition og velutstyrt kjøkken. Sengene var gode. Sofaen og tv var upåklagelig. Vi hadde det helt supert. Tusen takk for oss.

Tanyia and Rod are truly the most kind and welcoming hosts with the most beautiful property. It was the most lovely stay, so calm and beautiful, a true oasis of a home. The air bnb has everything you would need in terms of livability, such as kitchen tools and cooking essentials along with being beautifully clean and comfortable in every way. Would highly recommend staying at any of Tanyia and Rods homes :)
