Vacation rentals with lake access in Guatuso

Kellys place was perfect for our family. The location is close to many of the areas local attractions and the peaceful tranquility of the deck and watching so many species of birds in the yard was incredible! We would stay here again.

Everything was great—super beautiful, clean, and very peaceful, just what we were looking for. The house has everything needed for a pleasant stay. We would definitely visit this place again. The pool is clean and large.

my family of 5 enjoyed our stay. My inlaws, me, my husband and son all enjoyed the property. It was so relaxing, beautiful and clean and we found it a great base to explore La Fortuna and Arenal area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting this area.

We had a last minute one-night stay due to an issue we had at a hotel and this ended up being one of our favorite stays all trip! Beautiful view and quiet location.

It truly is a little slice of heaven! Pictures don’t come close to doing it justice! We stayed 3 nights. It was easy to get to and close to the La Fortuna area. We can’t recommend pie in the sky enough! From check in to checkout it was wonderful!

Beautiful place, beautiful views!

The place is very nice, seeing the lake and the volcano is a good experience, right in front there are many activities to do, I recommend the boat for an hour that takes you near the volcano. A few meters away there is a store that helps a lot and also a restaurant with an excellent view, nice place.

We absolutely LOVED the location of this AirBnB because it was secluded away from the city but close enough to drive! The little swimming area and campground near the Airbnb was a hidden treat with gorgeous jungle landscaping that took our breath away! Don’t get a hotel, stay here and support the locals!

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. It was extremely peaceful and enjoyable. Wish we had more time in La Fortuna. We would’ve definitely stayed there another night. Waking up to the sounds of the water and the birds singing was truly special. We even enjoyed have the cattle next door as neighbors. Even the local restaurant on the corner was really good. We love Costa Rica.

Everything was spectacular, the place is beautiful and comfortable, perfect for escaping and relaxing, Rafael and his wife Mariela were super friendly and attentive, the arrival was simple and with excellent communication!!

Greetings, I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved the views of the lake and mountains. The view from the living room is a constant reminder of the incredible natural beauty of Arenal. We enjoyed how the morning light fills the house, especially the main bedroom. We cooked almost every day. Great stove and a well equipped kitchen was a plus and saved us a lot of money. The house is cozy with great views. The grounds are beautiful and enhance the surrounding natural beauty. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort of the house and the environment you have created. This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The atmosphere is peaceful, incredibly relaxing, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic, and having a chat with Paul was truly a blessing. Thank you, Paul and Carole, for such a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Amazing views! This condo was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect as a base to visit all the places around Guanacaste.

Nice and modern apartment, located in a very beautiful section of the valley with great views of Lake Arenal. Tanyia and Rod were also very friendly and provided us with a list of local attractions.

Amazing place! Great views. We had a problem with our shower and they sent someone to fix it right away. We stayed here to visit the cascadas celetes, it was about an hour from there.

Great place to spend a weekend or some vacation time, with a tiny supermarket nearby which can be reached out by walking. Adrian was very responsive, making the stay even better. I recommend the place and would stay again when going to La Fortuna

We were in casa 1. The little one bed room house was charming and well equipped. The place was comfortable and clean and the kitchen was very functional. The surrounding garden and pond was very peaceful and full of ducks, turtles, and birds! There’s no issue with location since we had a car, about 45 minutes to Arenal and other major attractions.

It is a very beautiful, quiet, organized and clean place. From the pool you can see the lake and the Arenal Volcano. We were also able to see animals such as sloths, toucans, among others. As for the food, we brought our food and had a fully-equipped kitchen to prepare it. By car it is easy to get there from Tilarán, but without a car there are only taxis, there is no Uber. It's a cozy place with a cool climate.

This was property matched the description and the pictures well. El Castillo is a more peaceful area than La Fortuna and close enough to feel like you can go back and forth without any issue. The view from the porch hot tub is stunning and makes up for the rustic amenities within the cabin. There was daily construction starting at 6:00am on the house next-door, however, so I probably would not have chosen this property if I had known that before-hand.

Absolutely loved our stay! The property is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and breathtaking views of the volcano. Very private - no one else nearby. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and jacuzzi—it was the perfect place to relax. The location is great too, just a quick and easy 15-minute drive into downtown. Kenneth was an exceptional host—super responsive and thoughtful, even leaving fresh coconuts in the fridge for us. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is a very nice house with plenty of space, the pool is very nice and the whole property is beautiful and close to the Fortuna de San Carlos. It has access to a river where a cart enters (some parts only high cart). The owner of the house treated us super well and even got us some things we wanted. I would recommend the place if they like to have a good time as a family.
