La Vista sits in the middle of nature’s beauty. It has a 360-degree view of rolling hills, peaceful cow pastures, distant mountains, and the crown jewel: the Arenal volcano. There are tons of things to do, like zip lining, swinging bridges, surfing, blue lagoon, even milking cows, and learning how to decorate cakes. All these are from five minutes away to an hour away. There is an air conditioner in each room of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped, even for bakers.

Also near Arbol de la Paz and the Labyrinth of Katira. 1.5 hour drive to La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano and the free hot springs. About a 2 hour drive to the coast. Wow what an amazing view! Also an amazing garden full of hummingbirds and other lovely birds. Friendly horse that came to visit twice and reached its head over the fence. Neighbor Lilander gave us a picturesque horseback ride with a gorgeous jungle hike to a private waterfall. El Castillo is a remote, steep village. The bakery is terrific and the little market is super helpful. We enjoyed La Ventanita and Fusion for dinners. Anna and the other hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Thank you!!

We had an amazing stay here! The location was easy to find and not too far from the airport. There were definitely lots of local stores and restaurants to visit near by. We recommend Resturante Ross! The views especially early morning were amazing overall we have no complaints. Our favorite part was visiting the farm animals! Oscar was so nice and welcoming.

Awesome facility! It was exactly as described. Very quiet. very private, and very safe. The pool is definitely what stood out the most. It was very relaxing. Norwin thought of everything! He was very helpful. We saw a lot of hummingbirds. The bedroom was ample size with plenty of storage. We enjoyed our stay there immensely and look forward to returning.

Jose, his family and friends were more than welcoming to us from the moment we came to the Airbnb! Quick responses and always there to lend us a hand or guide us to anything we may need! Amazing food at a local restaurant, horseback riding on his land with lots of things to see and learn about! His pool at the Airbnb was absolutely amazing! We loved getting to meet his family members and socializing with them! I would highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone in near the La Fortuna area!!! Ps wait until you see his 2nd one they are building right now!! Thank you soo very much! We loved everyone moment at your home!

This house provided a magical time in La Fortuna! It was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed the pool and the quiet neighborhood. It was a short drive to the small town and we loved every second of its please note bugs get in no matter how much you try to keep them out! Embrace them! Also, the comforters were a little small for our liking, I would have preferred a full size for my husband and I to share instead of 2 small sheets. Besides that, it was perfect!

Words truly can't capture how incredible this property is! We've stayed in many Airbnbs across different locations, but nothing has come close to this experience. The home and grounds are absolutely stunning—but it was the location and our amazing hosts, David and Josie, that made this stay unforgettable. We arrived at the start of rainy season, but it didn’t dampen our stay at all—thoughtful touches like covered walkways and outdoor spaces made it easy to enjoy everything, rain or shine. From the abundant wildlife to the peaceful seclusion, and the wealth of local knowledge they shared, every moment was exceptional! This place is a gem!

Lakeside Haven Arenal

Luis was excellent from the moment we booked the place. Super communicative and helpful. The house was in excellent condition and everything was very tidy. I had absolutely everything and more to cook and eat quietly. Very happy and we would go again. Thank you very much

This is the second time staying in the casita and it was just as lovely as the first. The space is super clean and the location is very convenient. We were awakened by howler monkeys several mornings and had fun identifying birds from the front porch. Fulvio was very flexible and accommodating during check-in and check-out. Definitely recommend staying here!
