The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Welcome, to this peaceful retreat between Toulouse and Montauban. Located on the grounds of a former castle, the house has been converted from the old stables. A small private garden, as well as the castle park, are at your disposal (children's games, boules court, green spaces, etc.). The two-story house has a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor, a living room, 2 small bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom with toilet. Come and enjoy a quiet and comfortable moment.

A starter kit with sheets, coffee, tea, towel, sponge, etc. will be waiting so you don't have to worry about a thing.

Guests can park their vehicle in the property which is private and closed. The 35 m2 studio is newly renovated with an independent entrance which gives you complete freedom of access. It is dual-aspect and adjoining my house which is located in a quiet area next to shops and restaurants.

You'll love the cabin for the views, the calm and the location in the forest. Perfect for couples. We do not accept children under 12 years old, for safety reasons. The cabin is equipped, kitchenette with gas, oven, fridge etc. (oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, herbal tea provided) Bed linens and towels are provided. Bathroom, dry toilet NO SMOKING OUTSIDE AND INSIDE AND NO CANDLES. We provide battery-operated candles for you to use.

Simplify your life in this peaceful and central accommodation :-) The spaces are non-smoking, and our animal friends are not allowed here. Accommodation not suitable. This accommodation can accommodate one to two people (double bed that can be converted into 2 single beds). Travel cot on request. Stays possible per night/week/month. We love to speak English, Spanish, German and Portuguese, well, at least we try. Welcome!
