Wir durften als Gäste von Mikael eine wunderbaren Aufenthalt geniessen. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und hat alles, was man braucht. Es ist sehr zentral und ruhig gelegen. Alles war sehr sauber. This is by far one of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in. The host had everything that you could possibly need plus some things that I didn’t expect (international plugs). She was fast to answer questions and friendly.

We spent a wonderful week in Selfoss. The cabin was located within a 30 min drive of so many of the natural wonders that Iceland offers, from spectacular water falls and geysers to volcano craters and natural hot water pools. The cabin is located in a private little forest, sheltered from the wind. We were seven guests in total and had plenty of space.

Loved our stay in this beautiful home. It was toasty warm with lovely outlooks and space yo relax while still feeling part of the beautiful scenery. The house was well equipped. The host was very responsive when we needed some help to work the hot tub.

Lovely place. Perfect base for travelling. Teens loved the big TVs! Always really warm after a day trip out. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. Everything you need. Only one thing not perfect - the hot tub is not like a UK hot tub. It's a big tub you fill with hot water when you want to use it, which takes a while.

This was a beautiful home! Sara was very helpful and friendly. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. We had great views of the Northern lights from the backyard! Would highly recommend!

Björgvin is a great host and his place was everything our group was looking for. Remote house, with a hot tub, grill and good vibes. The location and the view from the terrace is beautiful with only a few minutes drive to the nearest town. Björgvin was really friendly and offered his assistance if we needed anything which was a nice touch.

This house is beautiful and the view is amazing. We loved soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the glacier in the distance, surrounded by trees. There are stairs to access the house, but we were able to navigate them just fine. The nearby town had a lovely spa, Laugarvatn Fontana, that we enjoyed, and we recommend the restaurant Linden. We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The host was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Lovely cottage with amazing views. Cottage was clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. Comfy beds and couch. Loved the covered hot tub - we had windy/rainy evenings, so it was nice to soak while having some weather protection! There is a large windowed sliding door you can open as well to let in cool air in. Host was friendly and communicative, check-in and check-out were very easy. Other pros - there’s a cute restaurant onsite, and we didn’t use them, but also laundry facilities. We’d definitely stay again!

Ein super Airbnb. Modern eingerichtet aber total gemütlich. Wir haben uns gleich wie Zuhause gefühlt. Der Hot Tube auf der Terasse: Ein Traum. Mit der Beschreibung super zu finden. Die Gastgeber sind immer telefonisch zu erreichen und kümmern sich hervorragend.

Die Hütte ist wie im Märchen eingerichtet, sehr schön dekoriert und super gemütlich. Man merkt, dass Agnes das Haus mit Liebe pflegt. Alles ist super sauber und Verpflegung sowie skin care sind vorhanden. Man kann sich bei Agnes richtig was gönnen. Die Hütte liegt auf einem Hügel in der Nähe vom Geysir und Gullfoss - eine Super-Lage für einen Urlaub in Island. Der Nachteil ist die große Entfernung zum nächsten Supermarkt. Aber Agnes ist sehr vorsorglich: Der Kühlschrank war bereits gefüllt als wir ankamen und keiner von uns musste hungern. Auch die Küche war voll eingerichtet mit Gewürz, Öl, Lebensmittel im Vorrat und Küchengeräten. Die Kommunikation mit Agnes war auch großartig. Sie hat uns immer schnell geantwortet und uns schnell geholfen, wenn wir Probleme hatten.

La casa y el lugar son realmente maravillosos. La casa tiene de todo. La bañera exterior, fantástica. Había muchos pájaros; vimos, incluso, al buho!!! Nos ha encantado. Nos sentimos afortunados y felices. Para repetir, sin duda.

Logement non loin de secret lagoon, bien situé dans le cercle d’or. Attention l’emplacement GPS n’est pas le bon, ce n’est pas à Selfoss. Arrivée autonome et intérieur très propre, nous n’avons pas vu la propriétaire.

Very peaceful and homely cabin in beautiful surroundings. Svanna is very helpful and the cabin is well kept and cosy. Rural location - we were lucky enough to catch the northern lights 4 nights in a row! Would happily stay again, thank you ☺️

This was a nice cozy cabin with a hot tub and good location near Thingvellir and other ring road attractions (geysir, gullfoss, etc). Very private, and nice yard, though despite their being ~5-6 sleeping spots, the cabin itself was likely too small for that many (we had 3 and that was about the most I’d recommend). Host was very responsive and helpful. For those traveling the ring road, this is a great spot to have in the itinerary!
