(Sleeping place for 6 good friends.) Good cabin to stay in, warm and cosy. Good to have as a base because there is short drive to Reykjavik(80 km), south and west side of Iceland. Short drive to nature of the South: Golden Circle, Waterfall Faxi, Seljalandsfoss, Skógarfoss, glacier, mountains, lakes and rivers.

I stay in a magical place in front of the lake with a breathtaking view. The house was very clean, very quiet, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Super location, as well as communication with hosts. Follow the instructions of the host carefully to get to the place, not very easy to reach with Google maps. Highly recommended! This place is great! Very cozy and close to the golden circle and Selfoss, which has great restaurants! We especially enjoyed the cozy vibe of the interior furniture and kitchen. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and cold plunge combo. Magnús was really responsive when we had questions, and even got on the phone to walk us through how to fill the hot tub and turn off the lights so we could better view the aurora!

This house is beautiful and the view is amazing. We loved soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the glacier in the distance, surrounded by trees. There are stairs to access the house, but we were able to navigate them just fine. The nearby town had a lovely spa, Laugarvatn Fontana, that we enjoyed, and we recommend the restaurant Linden. We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The host was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Elfa is a very helpful and positive person! She provided all the instructions with flexibility. The place is situated close to the lake close to many landmarks and national parks. The apartment is very clean (the cleanest I ever had on Airbnb) and gives you a lot of privacy. I totally recommend!
