Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Grenadines

Our family of four loved this place. It felt very homely. Check in fantastic. The host was very responsive and attentive. The beach is literally across the road. There are two lovely restaurants also a minute away. Petra’s lovely. Have a Roti. Dawn’s was great for breakfast. Miss Bernadette the house keeper came each morning to sweep the yard and she’s lovely. The veranda is great and the wooden wind chimes was a lovely touch.

This was our 3rd trip to Bequia and the 4th place we have rented. Each had pros & cons. Cons are similar to anywhere in Bequia (steep hills, water pressure/scarcity, barking dogs). Pros of this location far outweigh and include value for price, central location, proximity to dollar buses, walking distance to beaches and restaurants, corner store steps away, driveway easy to find, all the appliances you need to cook your own meals (including large lobster pot and leftover containers), high elevation for consistent breezes/cooling, great place to watch local community buzz, friendly people everywhere and safe (as always!), beautiful little geckos peaking around back and covered deck, Elrita is wonderful and seconds away if anything needed, fruit and veg stand pop up at the bottom of the driveway, great view, excellent wifi, various mattress/bed options, responsive and communicative host, and a lovely gardener, Hilda, who thoughtfully brought us fresh coconuts on her second visit. 👍👍

Home was described in the listing. No surprises. Central location, close to everything we needed to do/visit. Very responsive to inquiries.

Sarah was very responsive and helpful. It is a great location, with easy walk to restaurants and the beautiful Princess Margaret beach. We played hard during the day, so the nice comfortable king size bed was a huge plus. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at Three Little Birds. The house is amazing and Bec and Steff are great hosts. Abbie, the local caretaker was very responsive as well. Bequia is a wonderful island with lots to do - amazing beaches, mountains, flowers, spectacular scenery. We had 8 days of peace and beauty.

Gorgeous house at the top of Mt. Pleasant Road. Every morning, a bay view was spread before us (it changes daily as the yachts and sailboats come in and out) and a small swimming pool to cool off at the end of a hot day. If you’ve got strong thighs, we also jogged the roads near the house, but it is quite hilly. One thing to note is that the house is very “open” plan with large doors that create wonderful indoor-outdoor living. And the bedrooms have this same feeling with doors that opened to the back patio. The property isn’t fenced in. And there are no screens in the windows or doors (and no A/C). This means lots of fresh air… and lots of wildlife visitors. We had many lizards, large moths, caterpillars, a neighborhood cat, a rather large stray dog, many hungry mosquitos and one very annoyed hummingbird that got stuck in the master bedroom. You get used to it. We didn’t have a car, so we befriended a fabulous taxi service — Curtice Taxi (ask for Pearlette!).

This home in Bequia was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and thoughtfully maintained the space was. It had every comfort we needed—and then some. The photos honestly don’t do it justice! The house exceeded our needs in every way. It was peaceful, private, and perfectly located to enjoy all the charm of the island. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, were the house managers. They were always available, incredibly responsive, and made a genuine effort to check in on us throughout our trip to ensure everything was going smoothly. Their hospitality really made us feel cared for and at home. If you’re considering a trip to Bequia, do yourself a favor and book this place—you won’t regret it!

We have traveled extensively and Memory house is a truly excellent home, location and experience. The house is charming, authentic and comfortable. The furnishings work well with the home and the interior decor is authentic without being overdone. The kitchen is stocked VERY well for cooking and entertaining; every conceivable kitchen utensil and appliance are present. There were plenty of dishes, the Tupperware had matching tops (so you can actually use them for storage) and the knives were even sharp! There are 2 refrigerators, which is great for stocking up and a wine/beer cooler; the ice maker was clutch for picnics. There were plenty of beach towels, the pool was lovely and the beach is 3 paces north from your bedroom. There is a constant luscious breeze that you fall asleep and wake up to….and the beds, pillows and sheets are all comfortable. There is a jacked-up golf cart for guests to use which comes in handy getting yourself/luggage to and from the dock. There is also a lovely woman who tends to the property daily; she was so helpful helping to get food, cleaning, doing laundry, etc. I don’t think our dirty laundry ever hit the floor. The island is perfect for walking and jogging as there no cars on the island at all. Finally, the homeowner Susan was instrumental in setting the experience up, getting food delivered and helping out with logistics. In short, this was a great stay, a great home and all operated by a great host.

Isla Vista Apartment was great. Jacqueline and Neville saved our trip. After checking into a different AIRBNB on the island we wanted to get out immediately. We called Jacqueline who immediately answered and within 15 minutes we were at Isla Vista with Neville greeting us. The apartment was immaculate. The views we wondered, Conch restaurant 5 minute walk below directly on the beach. They say Canouan is the place Billionaires go to get away from millionaires. If your not a billionaire, you need to stay at Isla Vista Apartments!

There are the most beautiful views and nice breeze on the terrace. We walked everywhere, takes 5 min down to the best beach on the island; 10 min to come back up since it's a little climb up to the hill :) The walk to the town and port was about 40 min along the beach, but it's such a beautiful walk, it doesn't even feel that long. Anyway, our favorite area ended up being Lower Bay Beach within 5 min walk from the apartment, with little bars and restaurants; and the most beautiful water and views. So overall great location, and secluded for privacy. The only minus was no AC, but due to the constant breeze it was ok. Would definitely stay again.

Jan and Louis' place is a gem on Bequia! You can't beat the view from the hammocks on the deck and the apartment had everything we needed to cook our meals and relax. But the best parts are Jan and Louis themselves! Honestly, we felt like we were visiting family or old friends rather than strangers. They generously let us tag along on their music gigs and introduced us to some great people. It was a joy to spend time with them! From the beers, juice, and milk they left for us the first day, to the rides back and forth to the ferry, they were super star hosts and we couldn't ask for anything more. It was a delight to visit Bequia, we hope to be back soon!

We've stayed at places with great views, but never from both sides of the property. At Atlantic Breeze, you can see the Atlantic from the front door and the Caribbean (and the port) from the awesome porch! It's amazing, especially the Atlantic side on a clear night! You're in the middle of Canouan neighborhood life, not behind the gates of a resort. It's an invigorating walk up and down the hill to the restaurants and the minimart, as well as to the picture perfect windswept Caribbean beach on the backside. Cas was incredibly helpful in making sure our stay was smooth, including setting us up with someone to take us to the Tobago Cays and ensuring we could on the ferry to Bequia. But heck, everyone we interacted was friendly, including locals we asked for directions. Also, I'm going to second bringing sufficient Eastern Caribbean dollars, as our ATM card didn't work, either, and most places didn't accept credit cards. Thankfully, Canouan has a Western Union. Thanks again, Cas!

Rainbow castle was an absolute gem and I am so glad that I stayed there. Conrad and Ina were absolutely fantastic hosts, and checked on me constantly to see if there was anything I needed. Ina even did my laundry for me one day because she had room in the washer! I can’t say enough about the location and the incredible view. It’s way up high and the walk would have been a little rigourous but I had a scooter the entire time. You can just take a taxi for 15 or 20 EC and it’s a breeze. It was such a comfortable and wonderful stay and what a great value as well. Doris fresh foods had anything you could want that Knights supermarket didn’t have. I’ve stayed in dozens of Airbnb’s all around the world and rainbow castle is definitely in the very top of anywhere I have stayed. Conrad even gave me a ride to my 630 am ferry departure. Absolutely wonderful hosts and an incredible accommodation.

Irvin place is a typical Caribbean style accommodation. Literally in front of my favorite beach in Bequia (lower bay), where you can see a multitude of fishes. You can easily walk to all the others beaches, bars and restaurants. Definitely for who love to cook their own food, the kitchen has everything you need, from different types of pot and pan to blender, toaster and oven. For the rest it is realistically described from the owner.

We had a great stay at The Pink House. We do not recommend walking with luggage from the ferry to the house. There are a few steep hills. Oli offered to arrange a taxi but we learned the hard way that it was a strenuous walk. The location was convenient to all the restaurants in the port and to Princess Margaret and Lower Bay beaches. The showers were great with lots of hot water. No AC in the house so it was a bit warm at times. We would definitely stay there again!

Both Lorena and Elvin were very helpful and professional. Very nice place. Location is great but you need to be physically fit as it is very steep and difficult if you have walking difficulties.

I was quite impression by the cleanliness, the security service(24 hrs security who walked around the property as well as checked in to make sure we were OK), along with the warm welcoming that we received from the staff members at the property. The Property atmosphere was very inviting and relaxing; as it was surrounded by beautiful fruit trees of all kinds and captured a breathtaking view. I also enjoyed the many outdoor dining area's there was at the apartment. The host Sandra was phenomenal; as she kept us informed about activities ( when they were taking place, where they were taking place as well as how to get there). She went above and beyond as a host to ensure we were comfortable; she even kept us update with any change in the weather, the day there was a thunderstorm Sandra had informed us one day prior to it happening. Overall, I REALLY enjoyed my stay at Sandra's Apartment and i would definitely recommend it to anyone who is staying on the main island St Vincent. Whether you are a local or first time visitor Sandra's apartment is one place you would want to stay at. Thank you - sincerely a satisfied visitor
