Der er 200 meter til busstoppested, hvorfra bussen køre til Aarhus C. Naturen omkring huset byder både på hyggelig skov og 600 m fra huset ligger der en virkelig dejlig badestrand. Kaløvig Bådehavn ligger under en km fra huset. I huset er der spise og soveplads til 4 personer. Håndklæder, viskestykker, dyner, senge linned og brænde til den hyggelige brændeovn.

Fra den hyggelige lyse glas-karnap i stuen er der havkig og udsigt over gårdspladsen mod udsigtspunktet Peter Dolmens høj, egnens højeste punkt Kalesbakke og Blushøjgårds æblelund.
