James was a incredible host! Very kind and gentle, gave me an incredible experience at his place. The place is in the best neighborhood of NYC. Restaurants, bars, nightlife, cityscapes and more. Few blocks from Highline Park. The apartment is very silent and perfect for a good night of sleeping. Really recomend.

We stayed here for over a month and loved every moment. The space is cosy as the name suggests, but despite its size it’s incredibly functional. The apartment is thoughtfully furnished with plenty of storage space to unpack your things. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen was equipped with enough essentials for regular cooking. The floors are a bit uneven (as mentioned in other reviews) but that only adds to the character and charm of this beautiful old building. The location is amazing - just steps from everything in the West Village and Greenwich Village but tucked away in a semi-private mews. The hosts were fantastic - responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you!

I stayed in Bernardene’s place for almost 6 months and I had truly an amazing time. Situated in the west village, the apartment is spacious and comfortable and I could not think of a better space to stay!

I had a very good stay at Camille’s apartment. A few standout things that made it great for a long term stay were the full kitchen (stocked with the basic things you need like salt and pepper, herbs, olive oil), the in unit washer/dryer and the fantastic walkable location with grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The bed is very comfortable and it’s quiet with shades that ensure it’s dark at night. The tall bedroom windows have some lovely trees outside and a quiet courtyard which makes it nice during the day as well. It’s a cool pre-war building with the nicest staff, and the building is super clean. As anyone who does airbnb knows the host can make or break a stay, and Camille was ultra responsive and helpful with anything that required attention or questions.
