Vacation rentals with lake access in Greater Madawaska

The lake house was a lovely stay. First of all, the lakefront is beautiful and I enjoyed dangling my feet in the water and watching the sunset from the fire pit. The space inside was immaculate, comfortable, well-designed, and spacious. I let Andrea know the WiFi router had an issue, and within minutes she was on the phone with the company resolving the issue for me. I definitely recommend this home and would gladly stay here again.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Exactly as described! Fantastic home, we rented both places for our very large family getaway and had ample space! Everyone had their own area to go to get a break, or take a nap! The best stocked kitchen that we have ever had at an air bnb! Quick walk to the dock for great fishing and kayaking. On site laundry was an excellent bonus. Comfortable beds and furniture.

My family and I stayed for the May Long weekend. The place had gorgeous views, great amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. Communication with the hosts was easy, and they made us feel very welcome. The organization is evident, with a QR code leading you to a guidebook and easy info for wifi access. We loved fishing off the dock, the gorgeous fireplace in the main living room, and a stunning loft where I could work on my novel. There is a varied bookcase full of select authors from several genres. I will definitely consider coming back soon! The place is close to both Perth and Smith Falls, so there are plenty of options for day travel for those who love local shops. Be mindful that the area is woody and rural, so frequent tick checks/ mosquito repellent is a must!

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

Had a great stay at Jeremy's place, he was an excellent host. His place is very close to the Neat caffe which made for an easy walk home after the concert. We loved the river view and the lodgings were awesome, we would love to be able to stay there again if Jeremy would have us.

Will definitely be back. Very close to town, beautiful views, lots to do, super relaxing. The home is absolutely stunning and well kept.

This was such a lovely place to stay in. It was comfortable, clean, had great amenities, parking was convenient. Mohammad was also such a great host! We checked in late, and Mohammad still welcomed us, and gave us a tour. He was very responsive through the Airbnb app too. I strongly recommend staying in this place, and if I have the chance, I would definitely stay here again!

With a private entrance and a complete apartment with laundry facilities and a kitchen, this place is already great. Add in a great location near water and walkable eateries and shopping and it is even better.

Mike and Cindy were great hosts! They are very friendly, and good people. We loved the themed cabins. Everything in our cabin is picked for the “yellow canoe” theme. I love these types of thoughtful touches. They offered great suggestions for our activities. There are a lot of things to do in the area including complimentary kayaks, canoes, bicycles, firewood, etc. We enjoyed walking by their farms and interacting with their chickens. Their family welcomed us with open hearts. We will go back!

We had a fantastic weekend getaway, and loved that we could bring the pups with us! The hot tub and pizza oven were amazing, and the outdoor set up was beyond what we anticipated- games and multiple seating areas! We will definitely be going back!

Had a great 3-day, 2-night cottage stay! The property was just as described—clean, peaceful, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, but everything else made up for it. Would definitely recommend!

Second time renting this cottage with a group of 10 women who've known each other for 50 years!! The cottage was a perfect fit for all of us. Location is perfect, with a beautiful view of the river. Perfect walking distance (under 5K) to Quyon and Gavans Hotel for a quart!! Cottage is clean, modern. Having two fire pits offers options to gather - as well as many outdoor area's to gather, back deck, front deck, by the water. Scott is available for any questions - answering right away!! We loved it so much, that we've already booked for our 2026 weekend. Can't say enough good things about the cottage - it was perfect for our gathering - knowing that there are great memories there to last a lifetime. Highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for a relaxing, secluded, private spot to make your own memories.

We spent 4 peaceful days at this cozy cottage and absolutely loved it. The space was clean, quiet, and filled with charm. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views, waking up to nature each morning felt like a true escape. It was the perfect spot to rest, recharge, and slow down. We stayed at Rebecca’s place for 3 nights with a family of 7 and 2 small dogs. The cottage was so comfy and cozy and we enjoyed the entire weekend. There was a lot to do like kayaking and paddle boarding which was all provided as per the description! We loved the fire pit and the yard was so well kept and clean. They even had dog beds ready for our pups. She had a very well stocked kitchen that came with almost everything we needed. My family loved being both inside and outside the whole weekend. Thank you for sharing this little peaceful cottage with us, with the most amazing views of the lake.
