Jack's Cottage, Curbar

SophieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent 3 nights at Jack’s cottage and it was absolutely perfect for some much needed downtime. Fantastic location, beautiful cosy cottage, the hot tub was a brilliant feature and Matthew was on hand for any questions. The house is spotless, quirky with pops of pink, has available parking and a lovely quiet private garden. The location is fantastic for curbar edge, froggatt and trips to Bakewell and surrounding areas. We decided we’d look to book again before we’d even stayed the first night! Highly recommend this little gem in lovely Derbyshire.

We have just returned from a stay at The Stables. We both loved the accommodation and the location. The hosts made us feel very welcome and there was some lovely touches inside for when we arrived. The location is very peaceful and tucked away but also within walking distance of several pubs all serving good quality food for reasonable prices. We would recommend and come back again without question.

Peaceful cottage in Parwich village with hot tub

SophieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Caroline's place was lovely, a peaceful break in the countryside! A reasonable distance from some of the attractions of the Peak District, including the Tissington Trail and Thor's Cave. The village was quaint and we had a lovely meal in the local pub, The Sycamore (recommended by Caroline). The only downside was the typical British summer weather raining down on us - wish us better luck next time!

First time I’ve used Airbnb and am I glad to stay we were fortunate enough to stay at Katie’s cottage! It was exactly as described, 100% accurate in terms of the pictures and the host (Katie) herself was a genuine, amazing soul! Not many things are perfect, however this was as close to perfect if it’s what you’re looking for! Loved it!

Cheedale Lodge

NathanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I visited chee dale lodge with my partner and our young Labrador, and we had a lovely week long stay. The lodge is comfortable and well-equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, and fridge freezer. There were plenty of pots and pans, and salt and pepper to cook with, but no oil (I'd recommend bringing your own). For the dog, there was a good sized grass area, with a bin, a short distance from our doorstep. There is lots of nature to enjoy in the local area. In particular, we enjoyed visiting Luds church, three shires head, and the monsal trail. This was a great base, with most places we wanted to visit being 20 mins away or less. Highly recommend!

Cosy cottage in the heart of the Peak District

DavidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing stay in this lovely property. Stunning views from propery and very peaceful location to come back to after a day exploring/hiking all the close by attractions such as Buxton, Mam Tor, NT Longshaw. Met up with friends at RHS Bridgewater a bit further afield but worth a visit. Kitchen well equipped and spacious and enjoyed cooking with the view towards Rushup Edge. This was particularly spectacular with the recent strawberry moon in full view.

We've just returned from a very relaxing few days at the Hideaway. It's a lovely location with amazing views, sitting on the balcony of a morning just listeing to the birds, seeinf the frogs in the pond & a visit from the cat next door. Corrie was on hand if we had any questions and recommended some amazing walks and areas to visit. Our dog even had her own towel and bowls, all provided by Corrie.

Beautiful accommodation and even more beautiful location with the most stunning views. We had a brilliant time. Helen was even able to provide some eggs from her chickens for a small charge and they were delicious with the biggest yolks we’d ever seen! The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the house was well stocked. We were so happy with our stay and highly recommend.

Holmfirth cottage with amazing view, dog friendly

KimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage is tucked away on a quiet lane with stunning views over the Holmfirth countryside. You can really tell that Tracey has poured so much love and care into the space, as the cottage is full of charm and thoughtful personal touches that make it feel like a home from home. Tracey has thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay, from a generous selection of toiletries and kitchen essentials to dog bowls, treats, towels, and even spare duvets in both lightweight and heavier options. There were also hot water bottles, tea, coffee, milk, and snacks waiting for us on arrival, which was such a lovely touch. Communication with Tracey was excellent, she was proactive, helpful, and incredibly responsive, which made planning and arriving stress-free. The cottage is very dog-friendly, with plenty of walks nearby, and Holmfirth town centre is just a 10-minute walk away. I’d absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Yorkshire getaway.

Dale and Victoria were also very responsive and helpful while we were there - I couldn’t recommend more and hope I can return soon :)

We’ve had a really lovely 3 night stay at the cottage and would highly recommend it to those looking to explore the Peak District. The location is fantastic- peaceful but within a 5 minute walk to the centre of Bakewell. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and made the perfect place to have our first holiday away with our 3 month old baby. Pamela checked in with us during our trip and the treats on arrival were very thoughtful. Thanks again for everything, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Lux 2BR cot, Eyam centre, mins 2 pubs/cafes, walks

StellaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful cottage in a lovely part of the Peaks. Came here for a weekend holiday with partner and friends, we had a lovely time. The village of Eyam is very interesting and has a long history, and the forests and rocks of the Peaks are even older. All of this old time seeps out into the place. Dom and Sarah's cottage is really well located, just on the entrance to Eyam, making it easy to get out for walks around the village and beyond. The cottage is lovely and has all of the mod cons and is very comfortable and cozy ☺️ The place was spotlessly clean and really well presented for us when we arrived, and Dom was very responsive on messages whenever we needed anything. I really fell in love with the Peaks on this trip and I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit 😊 Thanks both!

Lux barn w. fire. Mins 2 hills, pubs, cafes, rest

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a wonderful time staying here in June. You can’t get a more perfect location! You are on the footpath to Mam Tor/Lose Hill so it’s very easily walkable and also loved the Indian restaurant which is right on your doorstep. It’s a brilliant location so close to other lovely villages, Ladybower Resevoir, Kinder Scout etc all of which are amazing walks. The Airbnb itself is so cute and perfect for a romantic getaway. Everything has been thought out. The kitchen is filled equipped so brilliant if you are planning on cooking, there’s even a fan in the bedroom which is handing in the summer months. The log fire is a lovely touch and the bathroom is very luxurious. Would 100% recommend! The only thing to note is that part of the driveway is a tad bit narrow, but larger 4x4 can get through pretty easily so not really a trouble!

Relax at Rose Cottage. You know you deserve it!

RichardRating, 5 stars5 days ago
A fantastic, cosy cottage in very peaceful surroundings. John and Vicky have thought of everything you might need and all the fixtures, fittings and equipment were of good quality. The extra little touches such as home made bread were also much appreciated. We walked for miles from the front door, and the lanes were very quiet. There are also several footpaths heading in all directions across the local fields. The location is perfect if you want to get away from it all, but also close enough to drive to local villages with pubs and cafes etc. John and Vicky are perfect hosts - always available when needed but left us to ourselves. Highly recommended!
