The Little Thatch

JamesRating, 5 stars6 days ago
As this was my first ever Airbnb, I didn't know what to expect. My experience of B and B places ( and owners) caused a preference to stay in hotels where an acceptable minimum standard could be taken for granted. However, my stay at The Little Thatch was a very pleasant experience, being on the edge of the village on a small quiet road, surrounded by open countryside. My stay was enhanced by the security and comfort provided by this small flat, particularly the very comfortable mattress provided in the upstairs bedroom which lulled me into a deep sleep. The attentive hosts, Beatrice Louisa and Rob were really helpful and certainly proactive in ensuring that I didn't experience any problems during my stay.

“The Little House” - Cozy Barn

My family have stayed in this property several times and have found it to be of a consistently high standard. Dominika is a professional, but friendly host. We would recommend this property.
A light-filled living room features a spacious sofa, a wooden coffee table at its center, and a mounted television on the wall. Large glass doors provide views of the outdoors and access to the terrace, while decorative curtains frame the windows, enhancing the relaxed ambiance.

Luxury Lodge at the Cambridge Country Club

LukeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely brilliant. Love golf or not this is a lovely place to stay with modern and pristine facilities. Really nice and friendly staff. The Lodge. The Lodge is absolutely lovely and actually has comfortable beds unlike others I have stayed in. The kitchen is fully kitted out and has everything you need. The Lodge is very spacious and has 2 toilets, one of which is an ensuite. The Hot tube was a great addition and wouldn’t go without now. The view looks over part of the course and is within 1-2 min walk of the club house and all the facilities, so if you fancy some golf, food or beer it’s a stone throw away. Cambridge centre is a 20/25min drive away so and Eber is like £20. Would definitely come again and will be back great value. Thank you Cambridge county club and the host of the lodge it was lovely.

Guest house in beautiful village

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Claire's place is a real treat to stay in. Everything was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully stocked. We had our baby with us, so it was vety helpful to have the travel cot set up, along with baby essentials and toys. The garden is stunning and we were lucky enough to be able to try the home grown strawberries which were in season. Orwell is lovely and we enjoyed The Chequers Inn and nearby Wimpole Estate. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.
A serene garden scene is displayed, featuring two metal chairs and a small table beneath a tree. Colorful flowers and lush greenery surround the seating area, creating a peaceful outdoor retreat. Sunlight filters through the foliage, enhancing the natural beauty of the setting.

Cambridge Grantchester dog friendly house

Excellent location with lovely walks straight from the door. Plenty of local pubs to walk to. The bottle of fizz and other goodies in the fridge were a welcome bonus. The personal touches of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were a lovely touch. I definitely recommend a visit to Luke’s house and we will visit again.

The Potting Shed

SallyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at the Potting Shed. It is much bigger than the pictures suggest. Spacious and cosy. It is ideally located being in beautiful countryside yet walking distance to the village and in turn it's easy access to Cambridge. We self-catered and the kitchen was very well equipped. We also really appreciated the welcome goodies and that Ann-Marie made up the sofa-bed for us ahead. Super clean and fresh bedding. We were very comfortable and very much enjoyed our stay. It was also easy to communicate with Ann-Marie and the directions were very clear. Thank you so much.
A bright staircase with white railings leads to an upper level, featuring soft beige walls and carpeting. Natural light fills the area, illuminating the space as it connects to a well-lit bedroom through an open doorway.
