We rent out 2 appartments. You are looking at the smaller unit. (The larger unit you find here: https://www.airbnb.de/rooms/21642508) The stable from 1891 was renovated into a 3-unit-home in 2016. The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.

Like an island, our property (an extension) is located between two villages in a beautiful, quiet location. Many seating options on the large property invite you to linger and relax. You feel far away and yet very close to the edge of the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park with its many lakes, beautiful landscape and various recreational opportunities. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be from May to September.

Nearby is the Berlin-Kư bike path and so cyclists can also stay well with us. Also the nearby lakes, Roofensee and Stechlinsee, are famous nearby getaways. In autumn and winter, the oven provides cozy warmth, and delicious frying apples, pizzas, or the like can be prepared in the built-in baking tray.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is small as described, but cozy. Dajana was very helpful We ate delicious food at the Indian restaurant a few steps away, and had a New Year's Eve dinner at the Italian restaurant at the marina. It was rather expensive but very delicious.

Barbara and Manfred are a couple of amazing people still exist on this planet;))! If there would be a 6 * rating we will put it on. We stayed for 2 days and if there be opportunity stay there for a life. The place is exactly as described and even better if you looking nature escape. You would need a car to get to their house but that shouldn't be a problem ,just ask Manfred and most likely he will be happy to help. You wint regret of this stay and might be remembering that for a long time.MOST RECOMMENDED!

We had a great vacation. The house is a gem it is absolutely beautifully situated. Lots of things to do, for example, bike ride on one of the many nearby bike paths and visits to Berlin that are 45 minutes by train from Gransee.
