Condo vacation rentals in Grand Union Canal

Rui ‘s communication was extremely good. I only had two small problems and they were resolved very quickly. He was very helpful and obliging indeed and so too was the cleaner who came in to deliver me a couple of items. The flat was well equipped and for us ideally situated.

Had a great stay. Very easy to deal with and had everything we needed. Quiet area. Great instructions and everything was self explanatory.

Easy place to find and the location was very good. The walk to the high street was nice and the journey to town did not take too long either. The apartment is spacious and modern and the smart tv was very easy to use and connect to. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

An amazing home and a perfect location - private and secluded yet still within the town.

Susanne won my heart with her very descriptive notes she sent me on the place on making the reservation. Communication with her was breezy. Her Airbnb is a quaint place which had everything I needed. She helped me with my bags up and down the stairs during my check-in and check-out. She was very respectful about my fear of dogs. As a host, I felt she gives you absolute privacy and in those rare instances you run into her, you feel like you've run into an old friend. I'm definitely looking forward to staying here again.

This was our 3rd time at Butterfly house and it did not disappoint. David’s place really stands out to us and that’s why we always come back. His place feels so homely and put together that it’s always on our list when we think of where to go for a staycation. Debbie was amazing hosting us, such good communication and great response times. Perfect for our short stay in Oxford. The unit is clean and comfortable with everything we need already provided. The location might not be in the centre of Oxford but its perfect for us who prefer somewhere quiet and private.

Great stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and it had everything I needed for my stay. Good location for the town centre and railway station - both within easy walking distance. Being able to park directly outside was really handy too.

I recently stayed at this property with my family, and it was an excellent experience. The house is perfect for a family of four, providing ample space and comfort. The host was incredibly caring and assisted us during both our arrival and departure, which made the stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights is the convenient parking right in front of the house. If the front parking is full, street parking is also available nearby. The location is another big plus, as it’s just a 15-20 minute walk to the town center, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The property is well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that includes everything you might need—an oven, stove, washing machine, small fridge, and even an iron with a stand. Great place to stay. Looks even better in real life compared to the photos. Vanessa was lovely and met me and my dogs upon arrival. This is a convenient, secure, comfortable and clean flat. While the residential development is large and parking would have been difficult without the designated parking space, once indoors the flat is quiet with lovely views of the canal and bordering trees.

Neil’s place was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I recommend it to anyone interested and look forward to staying again.

Amanda was an amazing host always responsive to my questions. I lived in this house for around 2 months. It was a bit pricy however worth the money. Very clean and lot of amenities. The location is very close to a lot of restaurants and supermarkets. I enjoyed this house a lot.

Fantastic place and the pictures don’t do it justice!! A haven in the middle of nature but with spacious modern apartment and the outside area is completely amazing!! Rosalind was really helpful and responsive and even though you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere due to the views and peaceful surroundings, it’s only a few minutes to the shops and some lovely pubs!! Will definitely go back!!

It was great to stay at Greg’s place for a second time. AirBnB is as described. Greg is a great, friendly host who is very responsive to any questions or queries we had. We let him know one of the radiators did not work and he immediately brought over an electric heater. Highly recommend his place!

The apartment is in an ideal location, less than 10 mins walk from St Albans City train station and 10 mins walk to the town center. It is bright, tastefully decorated and has everything you will need for a short or longer stay. The large screen TV has many local and international channels available and the wifi is fast and easy to log on to. This is a space for one or two people. I did not use the allocated parking space this visit but that is a big plus as parking in St Albans is hard to find. Check in and check out are straight forward and the host is very responsive. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
