the place was immaculate despite the awful ice storm that has devastated the area. wonderfully kept and professionally clean. loved our time there enjoying pigeon river. The host Ronda is top notch. Couldn't be any better from short response times to detailed explanations on where things are located and check in was a breeze. The best hosts I've ever worked with. I plan on renting from her many more times in the future. If your looking for a place in the vabderbuilt area, she's the one your looking for. Thanks for the stay ~the Rubys

Right on the water, which is exactly what we wanted. We LOVED the sun room and spent most of our time there just enjoying the view of Lake Huron. Even in early December, it was beautiful to look out at the lake and decompress from our regular lives. We came here for a weekend anniversary trip and it was a lovely getaway.

We stayed here for two nights during our winter trip to Upper Michigan. The location is perfect for northern and Upper Peninsula travel. Chelsea's place had all the amenities that you can think of to make your stay comfortable. We were amazed by the attention to details on amenities and guest convenience. They also have a very nice information book for guests. Chelsea was very responsive before and throughoyt our stay. I'd highly recommend this place if you are visiting the area.

Therapeutically peaceful. Great little place to get away from the rest of the world and both figuratively and literally unplug.

Jessica is an amazing host. There were so many extras. We loved the kayaks and canoe that they were kind enough to let us use. Spent most of our day in the water. Very clear water. Kid friendly. A zillion stars at night and coffee with the pretty Sunrise. We were ages 3 to 64 and all had a blast. We never wanted to leave. Fast response to questions. Easy check in. Easy to find. Clean. Had everything you need to cook. Many fun places near to explore. We even fished for Salmon. We highly recommend and would love to come back. You will not be sorry if you stay. Thank you Thank you

I stayed here for a wedding and wanted some private and quiet time around the events. It was fabulous. Sitting on porch talking to a friend or reading, the bed in the loft helped give me two of my best nights sleep in a long time. Would love to return for a longer time and just chill Went to the Villager in Lewiston for breakfast. Great service and food. Closes at 2 and cash only.

We had the best time staying at Renee and Claudia’s, there was an insane snow store and it was difficult to get in the night we arrived. Literally within the hour they had the drive to the cabin plowed and the cabin driveway plowed. It was a peaceful and wonderful week. Will definitely be back next year!! Thank you!!

Angeline’s place was so cute and clean and I loved all of the decor and special touches. We enjoyed sitting down by the water and just taking in the peace and quiet and sunshine. ☀️ The bed was super comfortable so we slept great and she offered plenty of clean towels and wash clothes in the bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked which helped me immensely while preparing meals. We found several beaches in the area for rockhounding and also stopped at Ocqueoc Falls on the way to the cottage. Thank you so much for making our trip special. ☺️

Penny was amazing! The cabin was perfect with everything we needed. We arrived way later than what we intended on due to traffic and Penny was in constant communication with us during our trip. She even left the porch and kitchen lights on for us since we were arriving well after dark. Penny lives right next door, so if we ever needed anything, it was taken care of almost immediately. She would even let us know when she was going to be gone for a bit so we were aware. I enjoyed sitting on the back patio each morning with my coffee listening to the birds and other wildlife. So relaxing! My husband and son took the row boat out a few times and went fishing. We even did a bonfire our last night there and made smores. Couldn't have asked for a better or more relaxing stay. Ideal location serving as a cozy Basecamp for exploring several surrounding winter scenes. Our day consisted of a short drive to Kortmans for breakfast, Family Fare for snacks, Ocqueoc Falls for a snowy hike, and The 211 in Onaway for a filling meal. One of our favorite moments was fully embracing the hygge vibes (fireplace, flameless candles, blankets) and looking out the giant A-frame windows to see a bald eagle catching a fish in the lake then landing in a ice floe to feast. We would recommend this place to anyone seeking to slow down and enjoy a retreat surrounded by nature. This place was the perfect balance of rustic and comfort.

All I can say is WOW!!!! The property was even more beautiful in person. It was absolutely gorgeous. Katy really has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. It's luxury in a secluded slice of heaven. The property was meticulous. Everything was chosen with care and attention to detail. From the linens, the pillows, the towels...to the supplies in the kitchen. The coffee bar was great. The welcome basket was wonderful with a personalized note. The games, the kayaks and paddle boards and the views!! Just outstanding! All the lighting details..the bonfire pit..the outdoor furniture. Even our dog was thought of providing towels, bowls, poop bags. Katy was wonderful to work with. She was very clear and detailed with instructions and ideas on places to eat, things to do, you name it. She was very responsive and you could tell she really cared about our stay. The hot tub was a bonus!! Even the bathroom was gorgeous!!! We LOVED our stay!!!

Cozy cabin in a good location

We loved our stay at the 3 little cottages! It has everything we needed and more. The lakeside area was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed the use of kayaks as well. The cottages were clean and comfortable and had all basic amenities covered. We enjoyed all the extra toys provided in the shed. Lori was so helpful and friendly. We were so sad to leave and can not wait to come back next year!

The cabin is very warm and cozy! Beautiful inside. Brandie our host was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely would visit again. We went to the ocqueoc falls in the winter. Very peaceful

It we a beautiful place. We would go back there. The only thing is I forgot my cooler in the freezer I text John to let him know but he never got back with me.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the surrounding hiking and natural areas. Connie was great with communication, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommended! Thank you to Connie for opening her home to share with us!
