Lake house vacation rentals in Grand Isle County

Our friend group and fur babies had an amazing time! We made use of the amazing dock and kayaks. The place was exactly as described and had a very homey feeling. The games and home essentials were great to have! Allison was easy and quick to respond and made our stay amazing. We will definitely come back!

We had such an amazing, relaxing, and fulfilling week here! First, there was plenty of space for all six of us, giving us both great spaces to gather for family games and socializing while also providing extra rooms and privacy to take remote work calls. The kitchen is large enough to have everyone cooking and preparing a meal, while also including those in the living room. Outside of the house you’ll find such a peaceful part of the lake, perfect for a fire on the beach or to relax in the hammock. If you prefer recreation, there is plenty to offer with kayaks, paddle boards, a swimming float, and a nearby public boat launch. The lane is quiet and excellent for scenic walks in the morning and evening, and those you may run into are always friendly. The location is close to attractions on grand isle, and Stephen gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, wineries, and more. We highly recommend this place for your next getaway, we would love to come back any time!

The house in North Hero was perfectly set up to roam about the house with a larger group. We didn't feel squished and were able to spread out. The house was very welcoming & homey feeling. Had so many various blankets for All of us to pick out our "own". We brought All our food in and enjoyed meals cooked in the well stocked kitchen (pots pans appliances dishes etc) & BBQ. The firepit dock area was where we spent our Much needed relaxation time. Fishing kayaking & paddleboarding was enjoyed with our own brought in equipment. This property is just a forced relaxation yet super homey feel. Thank you for making our vacay exactly what we were hoping for.

Great place to stay in Plattsburgh area!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jenneth’s place. We loved the location of this home for two reasons: it is very close to Shore Acres inn and restaurant (where the wedding was) and yet it was still very secluded, private, and off the main road. The convenience and privacy of the home was just perfect. The place was spotless, comfortable, and an overall, beautiful home inside and out. The host was wonderful and very responsive with anything we needed. A bottle of wine was even left for us to enjoy on our wedding weekend, which was the most perfect touch. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Heart House! The location is absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The home is welcoming and comfortable with amazing views. We were able to enjoy multiple decks and the dock for fishing, swimming and kayaking. There are very nice opportunities for hiking, golfing and biking in the area as well. We did have to drive at least 15 minutes to get to restaurants and shops, but that was expected. The peace was worth the drive! Laura was very helpful with recommendations for recreation. We cooked a few meals at home and enjoyed a well-stocked kitchen with all the appliances and cookware we needed. We visited during a heatwave, so the home was quite warm since there is no air conditioning. We were aware of this prior to booking, though (this is clearly documented in the listing). The fans provided along with the breeze off the lake were helpful. We would absolutely stay again - I look forward to visiting the area again in the fall and winter!

The home had everything we needed and the location was perfect! One comment is the living room furniture was extremely uncomfortable and needs replacing! It was like sitting on the floor because the cushions were so bad! But the master bedroom mattress was extremely comfortable and we slept great! Can’t beat the location ! All in all we had a great time and were very pleased with the home!

Location was clean, looked as advertised and Autumn was very responsive, kind and helpful with any of my groups questions or requests.

Beautiful place to stay, view of the lake from the front of the house and a short walk across the street. The house had plenty of space and loved the gift basket of treats, such a wonderful experience. Lots of cute places nearby or across the lake and an easy drive into Canada.

Right on Lake Champlain, cozy home. Only stayed for one night while passing through, but it had all that I needed! Would love to stay again and spend more time in the area.

Mariana was wonderful. She lent us slippers since it was cold outside. She left a lot of provisions for our use so we did not need to buy olive oil, etc. She left clear directions for check out and garbage disposal. The house was very clean and the views from her property were amazing. We had a wonderful time and saw some amazing fossils from the Chazy reef.

Great house with lake access right across the street. Will look to stay here again. Had enough space for our group and the outdoor area is massive and shaded.

My family stayed here. The house was great. A bit of trouble opening the front door but I understand that is temporary. Fabulous view of lake from bedroom and porch We had 3 children under 5 so the huge fenced in yard was a real plus. They could run and run and run! Special bonus: fabulous flowers around the house. Would definitely stay there again. Very much appreciated the communication from the host before, during and after the stay. He was very attentive to make sure everything was ok.

Stayed with 4 adults, 2 teenagers, a toddler, and dogs in August. The place was just what we needed. Large, private, access to lake/dock, plenty of space for dogs to roam, two sections of the house (so toddler could be in bed while others were up). Did not have anything to complain about, but would suggest bringing beach towels and bug spray. Nearby markets are somewhat lacking, so its a good idea to shop before arriving. Ilya was a gracious host and was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The place was clean, in a great location, and access to the water was a huge plus. The tiny home is situated very close to another rental property (maybe 10 feet apart) and they share a lawn and driveway. Something to keep in mind in terms of privacy.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house is charming, spotless, and beautifully decorated with cozy furnishings that made us feel right at home. During our visit we celebrated our daughter’s graduation and had an unforgettable evening watching her perform at the 126 Jazz club in Burlington a short drive away. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our experience was seamless and enjoyable. This stay made our special occasion even more memorable, and we’re already looking forward to returning. We highly recommend this lovely retreat to anyone visiting South Hero!

This is a lovely, comfortable house, perfect for anyone--including families with young children--who want to enjoy peace and quiet, watch the sunset or look at the stars. There's even a nice office space for working. My regret is we were on Isle La Motte for a wedding and were too busy to enjoy it.

There was no driveway so once you realize you're parking on the lawn it's fine. Great location mid island. The home is older but well loved, clean and was outfitted with everything we needed. Wonderful view of the lake.

amazing stay! loved the paddle boards and volleyball net! didn't want to leave what a beautiful lake view! watch out of the bugs but you better expect that for a lake house in the summer

We reached out to Jesse as we were moving to the area and needed a place to stay for a month while we worked to find permanent housing. The house was comfortable and relaxing in a beautiful setting which was perfect for us as we adjusted to the area! Jesse was more than accommodating with both check in and check out and was super responsive anytime I had a question. We are grateful to Jesse for his hospitality and definitely recommend the property to anyone who wants a cozy house on the lake to relax in during their stay!

This is an incredible 5 star Airbnb. If I could give Ryan another star I would. The living spaces are huge and made for a very comfortable family vacation. The views of the lake are stunning with lots of wildlife on display. We saw oprey, otters and ducks all weekened from the comfort of the expansive great room which has giant pricture windows that look direclty on the lake and provide south, east and west lake views. Can't wait to book this house again.

Our family had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Champlain islands! The house was super clean and tidy but still with personal touches making it feel like a home. The beds were really comfortable with plenty of pillows, and the kitchen was well stocked with a few essential pantry items and everything we needed to put together a nice family meal. Our toddler grandson was with us and it was so nice to have a few amenities for him - we used the baby gates, high chair, and pack n play and it made our stay super smooth to have those available, not to mention the outlet covers were a nice touch for our little one. The outdoor space was lovely, we caught a few spring blooms in the yard and the propane firepit made for a relaxing evening on the deck. Conner was a really great host and gave us some great recommendations for things to do in the area. We would be thrilled to stay at this home again!
