Lake house vacation rentals in Grand Isle County

We’re so grateful to have spent a week in Vermont at Margaret’s home. Isle La Motte is such a special place and what a great spot to experience Vermont’s natural beauty and Lake Champlain. The property is spectacular with mature trees and rugged coastline, complete with a large dock that’s perfect for swimming and fishing. We caught 7 different species of fish right from the dock. We witnessed Osprey, Eagle, Loons and Merganser on a daily basis! The house is perfect for a group of 8 to 10 with plenty of room to spread out both indoors and outdoors with lots of seating. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook and 2 grills, the large Cuisinart griddle was fun to use for everything from breakfast to homemade pizza! The kayaks and water toys were also great and everything was provided to use them safely. This was our first trip to Vermont and we loved every minute, which is very easy at a place like this! Easily one of the best vacation spots and Airbnb’s!

Thanks Andy! Our stay allowed us to experience beautiful lake views and watching shooting stars at night especially on the deck. The water was enjoyable and thank you for the heads up on the water shoes they are definitely needed but wasn’t a problem. Thank you for opening up your home !

Our stay over Labor Day was fantastic. This place is set in one of the most beautiful spots in the northeast and was the ideal spot for a peaceful, relaxing weekend. Alburgh Dunes State Park has a great beach and there's lot of hiking trails in the surrounding islands.

The view was gorgeous! The space was exactly as described and was able to accommodate 7 guests. We hired a private chef for our second night there and the space and kitchenware worked perfectly for the event. We would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay in Plattsburgh area!

We had a lovely stay at the pear tree cottage. Not only were the surroundings extremely beautiful with a huge backyard right on the lake, the house was gorgeous and so cozy! We loved all the thoughtful decoration, and the house has everything you need including some really fun board games on the lovely enclosed porch. When we needed help with something the host was very responsive and came right over. Highly recommend!

The only thing I would change(because i am older and have bad knees) the toilet in the bathroom is way too low!

It had everything I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Anne Marie even had a fire going in the fireplace for my arrival. Even though this spot would be ideal in the summer because it's right on the lake, I found it to be very beautiful and comfortable in the dead of winter. It was plenty warm, and easy to get in and out. I couldn't be happier with both the home and the host.

Amazing place! Our second year going back in a row and will be going back next year again. Such a beautiful spot. If you’re looking for a place for friends/family or just to relax by yourself, this is it!

Mariana was wonderful. She lent us slippers since it was cold outside. She left a lot of provisions for our use so we did not need to buy olive oil, etc. She left clear directions for check out and garbage disposal. The house was very clean and the views from her property were amazing. We had a wonderful time and saw some amazing fossils from the Chazy reef.

Our friend group and fur babies had an amazing time! We made use of the amazing dock and kayaks. The place was exactly as described and had a very homey feeling. The games and home essentials were great to have! Allison was easy and quick to respond and made our stay amazing. We will definitely come back!

Lovely cottage in beautful area. Lots of places to visit nearby. Close to South Hero where we have family. Great restaurants, apple orchards, so much to see! Also just short drive to Burlington and other attractions like Montpilier

Ilya was proactive and friendly with check-in/out instructions, lake access info and overall rental info. He was quick to respond to questions I had and resides nearby if guests need anything. The studio style space itself is comfortable, quiet and perfect for 1-2 guests. The new appliances, nice linens, supplied kitchen, full bath, and smart tv make it feel homey. I look forward to staying again when it’s warm enough to take advantage of the deck furniture, hammock and lake/kayak access. Thanks again!

Chris's place is really nice with a beautiful environment. We felt very good as a family celebrating Christmas there. Chris is very responsive and always ready to help

We stayed at Carrie’s place for end of the year. It was a great stay in a beautiful home. The house has all amenities and a perfect place for family vacation. Kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub was clean. The house was safe, great location. Carrie is a very responsible host and we truly enjoyed our stay and would 💯 plan to come back.

We had a very pleasant stay. We are actually from Vermont and went back for a memorial service. The spot was so peaceful ... the leaves were turning and we were right by the water. Walking distance to the main street, for coffee, food, shopping. Would stay again.

Dorsey’s house is a gem. Fully equipped, clean and private, and with the most amazing views of the lake Champlain. Unfortunately we were there during the hurricane Betty and we couldn’t use the private beach as much as we would like to. We did swim once, and the water was nice and with a lot of sand.

Great place next to the lake. Wish we stayed longer to enjoy.

My family and I had a short, but great stay when we were in town for an event. We had a blast in the garage playing darts, ping pong and doing a puzzle. We did end up taking a few dirt roads to get to the Airbnb, but it’s a beautiful spot and has plenty of space for a large group. We would highly recommend Missy’s house to others!

We really enjoyed out stay. It was a very quiet place, although there was another place quite close. Really enjoyed having a washer and dryer. Everything we needed was there, which made for a worry free visit. The view of the lake was extraordinary. If we ever come back to the area it is definitely where we would stay.

My group had a wonderful stay at Ryan's place. It was extremely easy to access the lake and very close to a lot of wonderful restaurants and Burlington proper! The house was charming and just as advertised. The hidden room was a trip to see!
