The building dates back to the 19th century and has been recently renovated. It can be rented whole (6 people) or partial (4 people). The decoration and the rooms are very well kept. It has several terraces and a garden. The pool is shared with our other house, Casa Catina (max 4 people)

Active people can go hiking, cycling and much more. We have a lot of tips for you, also not so well known.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy Airbnb, which felt like visiting family in a suburban setting. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to communicate with. The location is great, just a minute from the bus station, with a beautiful village 10-15 minutes on foot. However, after that, there are no sidewalks, so walking along the road can be risky. The house is cozy, clean, and has everything needed in the kitchen. Wi-Fi is reliable, and there are heaters, though we did feel a bit chilly at times. The lighting could use improvement, as some bulbs were out. The dining room has a fantastic view, and the terrace is great for sunny days, though the sunbeds could benefit from some maintenance. I didn’t use the BBQ grill due to water inside and lower quality. Overall, great value for money. I highly recommend this place for both vacations and long workations.

The house looks just like it does in the pictures and has a very nice atmosphere. The garden is quiet and secluded, and the house itself is spacious and comfy. The kitchen is very well-equipped. We had everything we could possibly need for our 10-day vacation. Sara and Aitor were excellent hosts, answering all our questions and helping us whenever we needed anything. We stayed in December, and with the fireplace and electric heaters, the temperature indoors was comfortable in the evenings. That said, I’d recommend packing some warmer clothes if you’re visiting in winter.

The kitchen area features natural stone walls complemented by wooden accents. A modern countertop is equipped with a sink and ample storage below. Featured items include a bottle of wine, a wooden container, and a set of candles on a decorative tray.

The house is very spacious and is in a very nice natural setting. The village of Santa Brigida is a two minute walk from the house. Only the access from the house is a bit difficult because it runs very close to the road and you have to be careful. Otherwise, everything was perfect, including communication with the owners. Highly recommended to spend a few quiet days in nature and at the same time with all the amenities. Very good value for the price.

Jose as a host has been wonderful, he has had very smooth, fast and friendly communication at all times. His explanations were perfect. The house is great, we were two families with girls and we were able to enjoy the stay without any inconvenience, exceeding our expectations. The house is equipped with everything you may need for both a short and a long stay. Jose had some welcome details with us and on the day of our departure, he allowed us to leave the property later to be able to adjust it with our flight back home. It's definitely worth spending a few days at home, disconnection and comfort guaranteed. Thank you so much for everything, Jose!!

We couldn't be happier with this little house in the heart of San Mateo: superbly located, very tastefully decorated, well-kept, very clean and complete in terms of kitchenware. In addition, communication with the hosts was very fast, very helpful and considerate. We'll be back for sure!

A charming apartment and a really, very nice landlady. It's good that there were heaters, we needed them. Due to the strike in Germany, we were unable to leave as planned and it was no problem to spontaneously add a night. Thanks for everything, Elena! We felt very comfortable!
