Vacation rentals in Gragnana

The Sambuco holiday home is very nice, cozy and comfortable. The landscape is splendid immersed in the Tuscan hills; the view of these hills is splendid. We were twelve adults and we were comfortably accommodated, also enjoying a certain privacy because there are three independent units, each with all services and amenities. Also the pool area with all the comforts, very clean. Ultimately, we really liked it, we will definitely be back, and I can highly recommend it.

Alessandro's accommodation is great for those who want to get away from the chaos of the city, it is in a quiet location and surrounded by greenery but still close to a lot of areas of interest such as Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) and so on... it is a very strategic place, especially if you have pets with you. Our little dachshund - Focaccia - was able to run freely in the huge garden in front of the accommodation - a place where my partner and I decided to have dinner every evening enjoying the beautiful sunset 🌇 The accommodation is beautiful, new and equipped with a really super-stocked kitchen (we could even make pizza!). We were also very pleased with the presence of an air conditioner. We will definitely be back, we highly recommend it 🫶🏼 N.B. Alessandro has always been super helpful in answering all my questions and giving me valuable advice on what to see/where to eat, etc. Thank you Alessandro for your infinite patience?

We had the pleasure of spending a week in Maria's beautiful house on Lake Vagli. The location right by the reservoir is simply fantastic and offers stunning views. The place is very cozy and well equipped – there was nothing missing! Particularly noteworthy is the kindness and helpfulness of the hosts. We were immediately supported with every question or request. It was a wonderful time and we highly recommend the house. Many thanks to Maria and her family!

The listing's frame and the listing are amazing! Beautiful views of the Alps and the accommodation a beautiful renovated old farmhouse! The pool is kept at a very good temperature which is really nice!!Martina's parents, who manage the accommodation and live next door, were really welcoming and spoke French very well! Which was really nice throughout the stay. The only small remark is that in view of the geographical location and the price of the accommodation it would have been nice to have the basic necessities (shower gel, shampoo, dishwashing liquid, sponge, garbage bag...) when you arrive. First of all, it should be emphasized that Fabio is a wonderful, courteous and helpful host. The house is lovingly and stylishly decorated. The village is located in the middle of the mountains of Garfagnana and together with its surroundings it is an oasis of tranquility. From Bagni di Lucca, a 7 km long, narrow, winding road leads to Lugnano-Monti di Villa. On the route, you will pass 2 more small villages. One of them is Granaiola, where you can eat super delicious food at Laura's. We will be happy to come back :-) Anne and Helga

Gorgeous old house, great area to explore.

We had a wonderful time at this special place. Nestled in the hills in a peaceful village, it offers a stunning view of the Apennine Mountains. The house is so beautiful that you could easily spend your entire stay just relaxing—on the terrace, in the pool, or cooking in the outdoor kitchen. That said, the surrounding region also has a lot to offer: amazing beaches and charming, less crowded, colorful villages. I was a bit worried about the internet connection before arriving, but the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. Sometimes there were four of us working remotely—two in the upstairs living room and two on the terrace, and we had no issues at all. The kitchen was also very well equipped. Marjolein and her husband were incredibly warm and welcoming, and communication was smooth and easy. Honestly, it couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much!

This was the best place we stayed on our Italy trip! The region is so unique, with winding mountainous roads, lush forest, and ancient buildings. The property was very clean, with all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was renovated and spacious, and the view was magnificent! Lindie was a fantastic host, very responsive and gave us very useful recommendations for the local restaurant and hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend staying here if you want a unique experience in the mountains!!
