Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Grad Kaštela

Davorka was an excellent host and responded very quickly and efficiently to us. She spent time with us explaining local transport and shared great advice on what to do and see. The place was spotless and well resourced. We loved the balcony with nice furniture outside and in. The washing machine was a good bonus. We arrived to delocious goodies and drinks in the fridge. Beds were comfortable and shower was fantastic. Parking was good and the view over the bay to the front and hills at the back was a bonus. We would recommend to others.

As described. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Contains everything you need. Friendly hosts, wine and cookies as gifts.

Was really great with Ivan, we even got pancakes once. The pool and apartment were very clean and we felt comfortable. You were in Split in 40 minutes by car and in Trogier in 20 minutes. The village down on the beach was also very nice. Heartfelt recommendation! Thanks for the good time!

Perfect villa but far from the center

Dragica is a very kind lady said we could stay after check out time if necessary, went out of her way to meet us when we got lost, and gave us good advice about location.

Listing matches the photos and description, very clean and very good bedding. Quiet location. Warm welcome from Bernard, who gave us some homemade specialties, and good tips for visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. Ivan is a great host and he answered all my questions. Self check-in was very easy. Everything was very clean. We prefered to park at the private parking lot at the main street that belongs to the house and is in 3 minutes walking distance to the house. In front of the house are two bars, so you can hear people talk and laugh, but if you close the windows it is really quiet. You should keep in mind, that the house is quite small and minimalistic, so there is not much space for your clothes and you'll probably leave your belongings in your suitcase. The rooftop is beautiful. There are a few restaurants in walking distance. In 1 minute you are at the ocean. In 4 minutes at the beach (stone beach). 10min by car is a LIDL (big supermarket). Great for doing trips to Trogir or Split. I would definitly book again! Thank you very much Ivan!

We had an absolute amazing time the apartment was beautiful and the view was stunning we even got a late check out and we were very appreciative of it because our flight wasn’t till the evening the bed linen was beautiful and soft everything about the apartment was fantastic and I would definitely come back

We highly recommend staying in this place, very well-maintained, clean and nice apartment that looks exactly like in the photos. We'll find most of the things you need and useful. The location of the apartment is also great, we can walk to the beaches in 10 minutes, the shop is at the end of the street, and there is also a bus stop nearby. When we arrived, there was a welcome basket with local treats, which surprised us very much. In addition, express contact with the owner who was always ready to help. We look forward to welcoming you to this stay and we highly recommend it!

Great hospitality from Doris. Peaceful place, beautiful pool and pretty beach nearby, accessible on foot with a walk on the waterfront. Basement accommodation, well-equipped and very clean. Possibility to park the car in the property. A nice place to stay😊

The Apartment was very nice and clean. We had a beautiful view to the sea. The pool area was also very nice with the garden and olive trees next to it. Our stay was really comfortable, we would like to come back some time soon.

You do need a car or be comfortable taking Ubers or taxis, because there is nowhere we found in the immediate area to walk to except the airport. BUT the apartment is probably the most thought out Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. So clean and decorated perfectly. No detail missed. The balcony views are gorgeous. Would 100% stay here again. Loved the proximity to Trogir and Split isn’t too far ($40 Uber ride for family). HIGHLY recommend.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Ivana's place. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like we were at home. The apartment was clean, inviting, and just felt like heaven. Ivana thought of everything and it's like she anticipated every need. If she would let us, I would live there forever. Also, the bed was very comfortable, and the apartment layout is very functional and spacious. There was a market downstairs and the bus station right outside, and easy to use. Across the street is a cafe, and Ivana recommended Restaurant Odmor (you MUST go!) to try. The Adriatic Sea is just a five-minute walk and the neighborhood is a quiet and restful place with just a touch of evening flair. We originally intended to stay in Split or Trogir but are so happy we found Kastel Kambelovac. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor and just book Ivana's place. You won't regret it! We are already planning our trip back ❤️

Best Airbnb experience from the accommodation itself to the host who made it even better. It is obvious he cares for each guest. He messaged us from time to time to make sure we had everything and were ok. What stood out to us was his generosity to take the time and effort to help us on the first night when we arrived really late and no restaurants were open. What is incredibly helpful are the lists of recommendations he sends including transport information that saved us a lot of time and confusion. The studio is filled with everything you need with amazing quality furniture and amenities. No one will be disappointed with Mate and his accommodation. He is welcoming, friendly, caring, and proactive. Would go back there without hesitation :)

Truly enjoyed my stay at Mirela's place. It is a very lovely studio apartment and it has everything for a comfy stay. The location is also good: 15min to the nearest beach and 10min walk to the bus station from which it is so easy to get to Split or to Trogir. I love Kastela because there is a nice promenade along the sea with lots of cafes, restaurants and beaches. Mirela is the best and friendliest host:) She treated me with lots of tasty food and local home olive oil:) It was such a pleasure to be her guest:) I am very happy that I chose this place. Strongly recommended!

It is a great place to stay for its accessible location, pristine decor and wonderful hospitality. You will be staying in a heritage site with the Adriatic right on your doorstep! You will be centrally located between 2 touristic cities Split and Trogir making it easy to visit them, as well as take some day tours to other attractions. The surroundings are beautiful, offering a seaside promenade along the Adriatic and with pubs and restaurants along the way that offer great food and drinks. To top it all off, Antonella and her husband are wonderful hosts who welcomed us with open arms(and some gifts!). They are very responsive and empathetic, providing guidance and information before and during our stay. Highly recommend!!!

very nice flat, in the quieter kastela area near split, ideal for a longer stay. Split, Trogir, Sibenik, Kraka Park and Klis fortress, are all easily reachable by car or uber within 25 minutes all under 20 euro, and the beach is at a 5 minute walk. The host is very sweet and handed us some fresh fruit from her garden a few times, there was a bit of a language barrier but she is very good at using hand gestures among her speech te get messages across. So she was quite easy to understand in the end.

Great location, only a 15 to 20 min car journey to either Split or Trogir. Lovely home right next to the water. Perfect for a quiet getaway, but easy travel to some of the more touristy areas.

I had the pleasure of spending time in the unit that this wonderful owner manages. I felt cared for from the moment of booking, and her communication was not only quick, but also welcoming. The apartment was not only clean, but beautifully decorated, which created a very good atmosphere to relax. In addition, the location was perfect – close to tourist attractions, yet in a quiet area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and hospitality!
