I really cannot say enough about how lovely and well stocked the apartment is. It is comfortable without being cluttered and all the appliances worked well-- the washer dryer are even full sized. Also, the hosts were so proactive , friendly and helpful. They really make this feel like a home away from home. I hope to stay here again when I need a long visit to Brooklyn.

My 89 year old mother stayed at Cheryl’s charming studio for a month and it worked great for her. My wife and I live a few blocks away so it was very convenient. The room is a tad small but it had everything one could want including a kitchen stocked with dishes, extra linens, and a really great artist designed bathroom. Nice decor throughout. It was also super quiet which my mom appreciated. One thing to note: there’s no TV which wouldn’t be a problem for most people but because my mom has failing eyesight she can’t read well and likes a little TV before bed. We solved the issue by bringing over a spare we had at our house! Again not a major issue for most. Cheryl was supper communicative and responded instantly with lighting requests and brought down an extra heater during a cold snap. Highly recommended for an authentic taste of Red Hook!

Had a lovely long stay with Mary. She is a delightful host. Available when you need her without being intrusive. The apartment worked well for us. Bed area, Kitchen and Bathroom. All worked well and a great hot shower to boot. The area is near to where we wanted to visit as we were exploring Brooklyn as well as Manhattan. All in all it represented great value for money.

Place was roomy and clean. The view was beautiful and the area very peaceful . Great stay and would recommend it to everyone! Host was responsive and attentive!
