Beautiful home. Incredible view. Friendly host. Great location for out of towners attending Helen's Hill Winery events. Wish we could have stayed another couple of nights and really enjoyed the location.

Richard was an amazingly responsive host, with a beautiful house, well placed exactly where we needed it. It was the perfect weekend.

Great experience and scenic spot for anyone who enjoyed The Castle. Mel was very responsive and the house was set up in authentic late 80s/early 90s style. Really enjoyed our trip.

awesome little place perfect for a quiet getaway

Had a beautiful stay at The Glen. The autumn colours were stunning each window you looked out of. Cosy at night time, we enjoyed the open fire, as well as the outdoor fireplaces. Having the river in walking distance was a special treat. Perfect spot to relax, but to also use as a launchpad to the nearby areas of Rutherglen, Beechworth and Bright. Was a perfect escape.

We loved staying here for our mums weekend away. The views are amazing, the house was cozy and close to all the local attractions. We loved sitting by the fire in the afternoons watching the incredible sunsets. The house was perfect for what we needed, the kitchen was set up so well and had everything we needed to cook our own meals.

Highly recommend this property. We had a lovely at this beautiful home. Place looked better than what we have expected. They were also kind and quick to respond to queries.

The photos of this place don't do it justice. It's really lovely and decorated so tastefully. The check in instructions were clear and easy, and our hosts were lovely and kind. An easy walk to the general store and pub, breakfast out on the deck, excellent and easy to use technology, and a really peaceful and lovely stay. Thank you for having us!

Lewis went above and beyond what was required - we had long air flights across time zones so he made sure we had the instructions for the lock box. The flat is very close to lots of eateries and Lewis has details of which streets to look along. It’s close to the CBD and just opposite a large park, and the flat is lovely inside. A great place to stay.

So spacious inside, the home is designed well and it's an intuitve space to navigate. Bedrooms were super comfortable, loads of pillows to choose from and ceiling fans were great for warmer days. Lovely little outdoor area and the location is great for proximity to local shops and supermarkets as well as all the lovely activities to do in the Dandenong Ranges close by. I could easily park a 4wd in the garage too. I especially liked the feeling of safety too. Lastly the hosts were so responsive and helpful. They're really hospitable.

The apartment is located in downtown Melbourne, in a very new high rise and was impeccably clean. There is a small IGA a few doors down and some good bars and restaurants close by, as well as only 2 blocks from the Southern Cross station and the river. Although it is relatively sparsely furnished, it has everything that we needed for a short break, and the gym in the building is much better than most hotel gyms. Chris was very responsive and allowed us to leave our luggage because our flight arrived in Melbourne early. Although it didn't impact us because we were out an about for most of the day, there is no TV (but a piano if you are musically inclined) and while the bed was comfortable, it was like a futon on the floor, so it may not be ideal for older people with mobility issues. The price was amazing for such a nice apartment on a high floor in central Melbourne, and I would definitely recommend the apartment.

Overall a nice place to stay. Peter was super responsive and he replace the shampoo immediately when I told him it ran out.

Spotlessly clean with very helpful & prompt communication from hosts. A lift up to unit from basement carparking. Spotlessly clean, with many well thought out extras. Comfortable lounge seating & a perfect out door area. I would highly recommend it to potential guests ... travelling by car ( easy parking)... plus coming by tram or train from city ( stops & station very close). Thank you hosts Dean & Kristen

Great location with enough privacy. Lots of beautiful birds in the area. The premise itself is very spacious and clean. Love the Sheraton linen!

Light and airy, compact, neat apartment on Level 1 of a very low-rise apartment block in the heart of Fitzroy. Great having more space than just a bedroom when staying several days, including a small plant-filled balcony. Big glass windows let in lots of light. Very close to all the vibrancy of inner-city living (so expect a few loud people walking down side streets and some Tram and traffic noise but that's the whole point of staying inner city right?) . Great access to retail shops of all kinds, numerous restaurants, supermarkets, groovy cafes (even welcoming green park spaces not far away). Art's place was a great base for walking everywhere but also Tram-rides just a short walk away. I highly recommend Art's place.

This was my first airbnb stay, and i was very impressed, will be comparing others to Bec's place, clean, tidy, quiet, great bed no complaints only praise for the great space to relax and stay at. Will stay again, if you looking for a place to stay, this is it. Thanks Bec for a lovely stay.

Without question, our favourite place we've been in Australia. Absolutely stunning views, a beautiful atmosphere, romantic, quiet, private, comfy and classy accommodation - and moments from amazing winery's and food. The cute goats and other animals are adorable and abundant. Whether you want to gaze at the plentiful stars on a clear ngiht, cosy by the log fires or walk up the hill for some spectacular views - its all there. As for Marty, the host - he's the cherry on top. Friendly, kind and an incredible person. Genuinely, you can't find anything better than this. Words truly aren’t enough to express how happy and welcomed we felt at your beautiful cottage. We had the most amazing time there, and Marina and Malcolm have honestly been the best hosts we’ve ever had through Airbnb. They were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful from start to finish. The cottage was absolutely immaculate—spotless, cozy, and perfectly prepared for our stay. The location is stunning, surrounded by peaceful nature, with breathtaking views, birds, and even kangaroos! We especially loved spending time by the fire pit and relaxing with our dogs in such a serene and magical environment. To top it all off, Marina and Malcolm went above and beyond by baking us fresh bread and leaving us a variety of delicious treats to enjoy. It was such a warm and generous gesture that made us feel truly special. If we could rate this stay 100 stars, we absolutely would. Thank you again for an unforgettable weekend—we can’t wait to come back!

I cannot put into words how beautiful Moosehead Lodge is. Matt and Rachel have gone above and beyond to create a space that is peaceful and comfortable, and the effort shows the second you pull into the driveway. If you're after a getaway to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself and loved ones, this is the place to come to. The beds are comfortable, the fireplace is warm and the nature surrounding is heaven. The house guide was an awesome way to know everything you need to know. And the recipes were such a nice touch! Thank you again for such a beautiful stay! P.S. the woodfire pizza oven is incredible!!

This was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed, the accommodation was perfect (looks even better in person)! It was a great way to spend Christmas as a couple, the plunge pool keeps you nice and cool in Summer and I’ve already recommended to friends. You can tell it’s a family run location, everyone we spoke to was lovely. We’ll hopefully be returning to experience a Winter break soon 🙂

Christ is a lovely host and has very small house in a very peaceful surroundings. However, Chris was unaware of the booking the place was not ready for us to check in. Though we had to wait for a few hours for the place to be cleaned up, we enjoyed the surroundings and river meanwhile.

Lisa and Nick’s Serenity property was exactly what we needed. Secluded, peaceful, and surrounded by nature in the best possible way. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly relaxed. The house is beautifully cosy and had everything we needed (plus all the little thoughtful touches, the snacks were very generous, thank you!) We spent our days going on long, quiet walks through the forest, soaking up the winter sun with a food platter, and our nights laughing around the outdoor fire under the stars. It was the perfect spot for four girlfriends who just wanted to do absolutely nothing and feel everything. Thank you Lisa and Nick for creating such a special space. We’ll be back

The cabin was warm and cosy and we enjoyed our stay very much, it was perfect for an autumn getaway. The whole cabin was very clean and the bathroom was immaculate. The homely decorative touches were lovely , there were more recent board games in the collection which was great and the Japanese bathtub was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

The perfect place to unwind. The running river is a wonderful soundtrack to a peaceful stay. Beautiful location and grounds where you'll be visited by colourful parrots and busy wrens. Spend the day fishing or hiking to the original Kevington gold mining township then fall into a comfy bed for a great night's sleep. Couldn't ask for more!
