Beautiful and peaceful location. Cute place for a short stay. Great spot!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Fiona & Lar’s Merlewood. Our accommodation was spotless, & very cosy. The roomy cottage was surrounded by beautiful peaceful Australian countryside. Bed was incredibly comfortable and large. Nights were spent cooking a meal, followed by a spa one night, and movie. Mornings were enjoyed taking in the beautiful sun filled view from every room after opening the blinds. Followed by a walk up the back hill, a sit on the deck, a sight seeing by car to Alexandra for lunch at the large cafe there, and enjoyed hiring a kayak at Jerusalem Creek to paddle around Eildon weir. Another day we drove to Yarck and purchased some essential oiled natural skin products at DINDI. There was also Op shop visits in Alexandra & Yea where we found a couple of bargains. This is the perfect place for a couple to unwind, & take in the scenery & tranquility, and use as a base to explore the region. Thanks Fiona & Lars making this lovely stay possible.

The house was thoughtfully decorated and stocked with everything we needed for our one-week stay! Lovely touches like bread, chocolates, etc. Elizabeth was very responsive and accomodating. Spacious house inside and out. Fireplace and electric blankets helped keep us warm at night. Farm views (and occasionally, smells 😅) were very peaceful.

Wonderful place that had something for everyone for our family consisting of three generations. Easy self check-in, stunning location and the house had everything we needed. We really enjoyed spending time on the balcony, utilising the bbq, admiring the view, the curious shorthorn cattle and shy kangaroos. Location was ideal to explore a great part of central Victoria.

A stunning house to stay at in Rutherglen. The perfect place to get ready for my wedding with stunning large windows and lots of natural light. Also walking distance to the Main Street and close to wineries.

Brilliant home with great chill spaces on a fantastic farm stay. The outlook from the wood-heated veranda is just stunning. Close proximity to Mt. Buller and great local food & coffee. Highly recommended digs- thanks Vickie & Ed.

My partner and I had an incredible time in Kate’s place. The cabin was more than we could’ve hoped for. We particularly enjoyed our times with the rescue animals on the property, being greeted by them in the morning was incredibly special. We’re very grateful to have stayed here. Thank you Kate.

Loved this so much. Tracy was such a lovely host and it was so comfortable and relaxing to stay here after a long car trip. Waking up to such a beautiful view was the best I wish we could have stayed longer.

It was a delightful retreat, incredibly tranquil, and we were warmly welcomed by two adorable cats. I would absolutely return for another stay.

Just returned from the a weekend away in glorious Mansfield, and the place felt like a home away from home! Helen has a beautiful and warm place. Everything you need is there, including some great puzzles! It is super comfortable for us as a family of 4 (including 2x teen boys!), and was neatly tucked away while still so close to the town centre. We loved hearing the sounds of wildlife in neighbouring fields - from cows and horses to cockatoos! We also loved how welcoming and responsive Helen was, including local recommendations for food/coffee/& beauty. We'd love to visit again.

You can see that thought has been put into this set up. It’s simple but beautiful. Peaceful and fabulous outlook. Had everything we needed without clutter, which I loved. The little things make a big difference. Beautiful linen. Plenty of excellent amenities Kitchen with everything we needed and it was all quality. Sausage dog planter at the door had me from the start! Highly recommended. Great place.

I thoroughly recommend this place, especially for a one-night stopover on a larger trip. The home is very comfortable and modern, with a high quality bathroom and a smart TV. The bath outside is fairly private thanks to some blinds, and a real highlight (but be warned it takes about 30 mins to fill up). We really loved the locally-made bread provided for breakfast. The only downsides are: you can really hear the sound of nearby traffic (fine for me but might impact light sleepers) and that there are not many restaurants or shops around (not that you’d really expect any in the area).

We stayed one night as we were traveling though. The cabin was compact but comfortable and had all the essentials. The sanctuary is absolutely amazing and the animals were incredible. You have to visit Ray the ostrich and see him dance. So awesome. At first we were a little wary of the huge free ranging turkey but after getting to know him, we became best friends, and he followed us around the farm acting as our tour guide! He is a beautiful creature. We love Tommy the friendly turkey :D there's also a vast range of other impressive animals like camels and Canadian elks. It's like having a zoo all to yourself. We appreciated the late check out so we had time to enjoy the farm in the morning before we left. We met one of the hosts who was very welcoming and showed us around, it was great to hear some of the stories behind these animal rescues. You can see these animals get a lot of love and live happy lives here. Great place and hope to be back one day.

We had a lovely two-day stay at this charming farmstay. The atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The natural surroundings, the cozy setup, and the gentle pace of life made our experience truly special. A big thank you to the hosts for their warm hospitality and thoughtful service — it really made us feel at home. We appreciate all the little details and the care they put into making our stay so comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a slice of countryside serenity.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Star gazing in the hot tub was our highlight. Would recommended it for anyone who loves the farm and being with nature. We saw alpacas and kanagaroos in the backyard. Very high quality kitchenware when cooking up a storm. Great night sleep, the mattress and pillows were comfy! Only feedback is to have entrance lights/driveway lights to the cottages. Note, we arrived quite late in the dark. Otherwise, loved the experience!

David and Georgiana's place is a hidden gem. so peaceful and really relaxing. the little treats of home made jam, fresh farm eggs and local bacon together with sourdough and butter were well received. thank you and we'll be back. cheers

What a great long weekend getaway. The farm is secluded and it’s so peaceful without any neighbours in close proximity. The kids had a ball. They loved the cows, both the babies and the adults. Beth the farmer was friendly and happy to offer her knowledge to us during our stay in relation to the farm. Only 20 minutes away from Echuca we got to get the best of both worlds, come home to a peaceful space and also enjoy swims at the Murray and dinner at the American was a highlight as well. Hopefully will return with some extended family. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The Kingsley is the most wonderful Airbnb we have stayed at. The location is wonderful - so peaceful and calm. The home is perfect too. Spotless, and very thoughtfully stocked, with lovely personal touches that made it feel so homely. The beds and linens are so comfortable - felt like an upscale hotel. It's a wonderful spot for a memorable holiday with family and friends. Craig and Wendy are such thoughtful hosts and the Kingsley was so comfortable and welcoming. We can't wait to come back again.

Michelle was extremely responsive, which made it such an easy experience for our first Airbnb. The location was rural, which was so nice to have in such a built-up area. The unit was super clean, well-furnished and provided so many little comforts that we were not expecting. Whilst the listing does mention the aircraft above, we found that it wasn't super disturbing and it certainly wasn't loud enough to affect sleep. We were super happy with the accommodation and thank the hosts for a great stay :)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lunar Lodge! The setting was peaceful and beautiful, and we instantly felt at home. The real highlight was the incredible animals—the affectionate and funny chickens had us laughing, and the peacock with its babies was just magical to see. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Tegan was a fantastic host, making sure we had everything we needed while giving us the perfect balance of privacy and warmth. We can’t wait to come back again in the future! Great place with amazing views! I would definitely recommend this place for a group of 4–6 people, although it’s most comfortable for 4. The location is also convenient - close to shops in case you need anything. The host, Natalie is fantastic. She’s very responsive and replies promptly to messages.

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend at the Riverside House. Andrew met us on arrival and was very welcoming. The location and house are very special, we enjoyed being right next to the river with balmy autumn evenings enjoying the view from the deck. Can’t wait to go back!

A beautiful getaway spot. Fully equipped with everything you need. Plenty of board games to keep you entertained in the evenings. Lots of birds and other wild life around. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone that wants a quiet escape.
