Farmstay vacation rentals in Goulburn River

Peter, Jill and their gorgeous doggie Meg were so lovely. They both were so accommodating, helping with a flat tire, extra lighting and a fire. Providing blankets, marshmallows, popcorn and really making out stay quite beautiful. They provided lots of recommendations for local wineries etc and even put up a birthday banner for my partner and gave us a local bottle of wine. Despite arriving at 7pm Peter helped us with the hot tub and everything worked amazingly. Reception isn’t great but Peter and Jill were very helpful with wifi and the peace and quiet is worth it. Beautiful balcony to watch the sunset. All up it was a magical stay and me and my partner couldn’t be happier. Thank you both xx

Mount Hope was a wonderful spot to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the verandah and looking out at the cows and the paddocks whilst reading and drinking a hot cuppa. The log fire made the house nice and cosy for the cold winter nights. The fully equipped kitchen would be perfect for a roast or an afternoon of baking. We enjoyed a walk through the paddocks and up the hill behind the house, a visit to both Seymour and Nagambie and the Tallarook market. We took bikes but did not end up doing the rail trail. A great weekend location not too far from Melbourne.

We had a lovely stay at Brigitte and John’s cabin. The house was warm and clean. I especially appreciate the warm bathroom in this winter. We also saw kangaroos and hot air balloons over the breathtaking Yarra Valley. Brigitte and John were warm and welcoming. The little touches like the fig roll ups and chocolate cake that she baked made the kids’ day. The location was quiet but near to everything. Woolworths was 4 mins away by car. Would love to stay here again if we get the chance.

Super host! Extremely responsive and helpful. David offered us early check-in and late check-out. We were there for the long weekend during Good Friday and till Easter Monday and we got an extremely good deal! Didn't have to pay for an arm or leg. And the place was so beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely be back again!

Our second stay at the house and again a very lovely relaxing time. This time it was colder but the place was cosy and warm, so perfect for all times of the year!

Thank you Kat & Angus for having us over our long weekend. We loved the cosy studio with homemade items and treats. It was lovely to get acquainted with the farm animals. We would highly recommend this stay to others and would love return some time!

Such a great comfortable place to stay. Has everything you need and super easy to find. Loved that the place had no WIFI as you got to enjoy old school DVDs and live the simple life again. Comfortable bed and great hot showers!

A well placed house for Great Victorian Rail Trail . It had a 4 bike rack & outside power point for e-bike charging. Sunset views were stunning. Cosy with a good kitchen.

The most amazing Airbnb we have ever stayed in! From sunshine to rain and foggy mornings, one of the most breathtaking views you will see. This Airbnb had so much to offer from the relaxing bath overlooking the view, to a fire and chairs to watch the stars, wood fire pizza oven and cosy indoor space to cook up dinner and watch a movie. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to visit again. Stephen was so helpful, and there was everything we could’ve needed available. Feeling so recharged after a few nights away at this stay.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Star gazing in the hot tub was our highlight. Would recommended it for anyone who loves the farm and being with nature. We saw alpacas and kanagaroos in the backyard. Very high quality kitchenware when cooking up a storm. Great night sleep, the mattress and pillows were comfy! Only feedback is to have entrance lights/driveway lights to the cottages. Note, we arrived quite late in the dark. Otherwise, loved the experience!

Beautiful stay on Paramoor winery. The cottage was comfortable, warm with heating and a wood-burner, and the property is really peaceful. 10 minutes drive from Kyneton, Lancefield and Woodend, and wineries. The wine at Paramoor was delicious - we had a lovely tasting with Sam. Thank you!

Emily and Aaron were fantastic hosts and the property was everything and more than we had hoped for. We enjoyed feeding their goats and petting their gorgeous dog during our stay. The nights sky was clear and full or the most beautiful stars. The property was stunning and the added touches of sourdough and eggs made our mornings perfect. We were close enough to visit Castlemaine for massages, Daylesford for coffee and shopping, Kyneton for shopping and food and Trentham for delicious dinners and sightseeing. We would love to return again and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful get away. You can do as much or as little as you want to during your stay.

My partner and I had an amazing stay, with breakfast included to get you going, it does make a difference! The property was very nice to wander around and the house itself had a nice homey vibe to it. It had everything you need along with the heated floors in the bathroom! Would recommend to anybody looking for a private and relaxing get away!

I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a truly unique experience. My partner and I stayed here and had an amazing time. Lynne is a fantastic host, we had a great all around stay and best of all was meeting all of the animals of the sanctuary.

The Cottage by the Lake was an amazing stay - even thought it was a rainy day, it felt so nice and cozy. The surrounding nature and the kangaroos and ducks across the field made the stay picturesque.

What can I say other than outstanding ⭐️ great communication with Craig…we arrived to a wonderful property, classic on outside, modern and well presented on inside…the kitchen was stocked with plenty of necessary items on arrival ☑️ very clean, comfortable beds…indoor fireplace and outdoor fire-pit perfect for late autumn 🍂 right in the middle of prosecco road so easy to get to all the wonderful wineries. Would recommend and stay again in a heartbeat!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming farm – it was the perfect family getaway! The setting was peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore. They were especially thrilled with the friendly animals – the dogs were incredibly sweet, the pony was a big hit, and meeting a real kangaroo was an unforgettable experience! The accommodation was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The hosts were welcoming and made us feel right at home. It was such a joy to wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Highly recommend this place for families looking to unplug, unwind, and give the kids a fun, hands-on experience with animals. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic family stay. The kids had the best time running around and playing on the big grassy area. The views over the paddocks are stunning. The house was comfy and warm. We couldn’t fault our stay. So much room and so so peaceful.

Fabulous week at Wagyu House. The outlook was stunning and very relaxing. Highly recommend a stay to get away from it all. There is a lot to offer in the region. The breakfast provisions were a welcome addition.
