It is made from predominantly natural materials. The ground floor of the house, along with the bathroom, is accessible and accessible for people with disabilities. From the ground floor, you climb a wooden staircase into the loft area, which, in addition to the bedroom with balcony and views of the meadows, offers a sauna and bathtub for added relaxation.

Atmospheric location with beautiful authentic materials and upstairs a bedroom annex bathroom over the entire upper floor. We made a lot of use of the seat in the sheltered garden next to the house. A set of chairs or a bench where you could stay for a longer period of time, for example, to read a book, would have made it complete. You are out of the village in no time to drive in all directions for nature, towns and the Lidl. Great place!

We had a wonderful time at Mauro's. The apartment was the perfect size and we felt very comfortable. The terrace was decorated with beautiful flowers and trees, which I liked very much. Communication with Mauro worked out great and he is a very nice host. You have to walk a bit from the location to the beach, but that has never hurt anyone. Right outside the door are also the bus stops to Trieste or the airport. The bus comes every 15-20 minutes, which is great. We highly recommend it. Thank you so much for having us!

We loved every minute here! The photos do not do it justice – – it’s far more beautiful in person. The views over trees and the water are spell – binding. We would sit and watch as the sky and the water as the light changed. It was very easy to hike up on the Napoleonic way or down to the seaside. The kitchen was great and it was fun to cook with fresh Italian ingredients. I enjoyed a few swims even in cooler weather. But it was particularly a good place for us to hole up and reboot, take a break and get work done. We hope to make this an annual retreat. Petra and Ivan were particularly helpful, and went out of their way to support our stay and even extend it. We are very grateful!
