Vacation rentals in Gorges de Daluis

The view from this charming apartment is stunning! It is cute and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. Nicolas was an awesome host-very responsive, friendly, and had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Dinner at Auberge des Gorge du Loup was lovely and the hike at Pic De Courmettes was so fun! Gourdon was spectacular, as was the rest of the area. Lots of places to hike and view gorgeous scenery. We heard red deer bugling and saw several! We enjoyed the small terrace for morning coffee and evening relaxation. For those with mobility issues, be aware you will need carry your suitcases up a long stone staircase to get to the space. And unless you have a very tiny rental car, you will need to park it on the street at the bottom of the hill. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We had a very enjoyable stay in the apartment. The place was well equipped, enjoyed using an air fryer for the first time & the BBQ was great! The outside decking area with hot tub was very relaxing and as the weather was not warm enough for the pool the hot tub was a welcome alternative for relaxing. The scenery was stunning. I would recommend providing some written recommendations on restaurants, areas to visit, walks in the area etc in the house. We looked online but personal recommendations left for guests would be a nice touch. I would recommend this house for its space for a family and Stephane was a very responsive host. You definitely need a car to enjoy the area, go to shops etc. We had not planned to hire one as I thought we could walk to the village in about 15 mins but we ended up getting a rental otherwise we would have relied on Ubers, which were quick enough but it adds up when you are a party of 5. We spent 5 days at Mary's place. After a very warm welcome, we were immediately captivated by the incredible view from the terrace. We spent our time contemplating the landscape. The home is conveniently located near family walks that are easily accessible and stunning. The equipment is well thought out, the whole is impeccably clean, the decoration warm. we immediately felt at home. Mary is a very friendly, available and attentive host. We highly recommend this listing.

Ivan was very helpful during the reservation process and that continued throughout the entire rental. Cherry greeted us at the condo and oriented us to the unit. She was prompt and thorough. The unit is beautiful and centrally located. The wrap around terrace is a huge bonus plus there is a gorgeous view. The beds are comfortable, the baths are newly remodeled, plush towels, extremely high quality linens, well equipped kitchen with a welcome basket of coffee, sweets and snack. The unit was exceptionally clean and very welcoming. We loved the unit and walked everywhere. You cannot go wrong selecting this unit. There is nothing not to like about this unit or the host. Cherry was responsive to questions during our stay, too. Of note, There is a parking spot in the garage. The access to the car elevator and parking space requires a skilled driver to accomplish the maneuvers, but having the parking space is a plus. There is also on street parking in the area.
