Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Goodhue County

Mallory’s place was a wonderful retreat for our family of four over a long weekend. The grounds are beautiful - we took lots of walks, did some fishing, and enjoyed the trampoline. Being able to bring our dogs along huge plus. Having complimentary coffee and a few adult beverages was a nice addition.

Fantastic stay for 8-12 people! Extremely open space, and lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. My stay involved lots of karaoke, darts, fireside chats, and enjoying coffee on the outside porch overlooking the woods. The space itself is massive, and could easily fit a large group without feeling cramped. I stayed with 7 others and we all loved the place. 10/10 would recommend! My only complaint is the amount of personal belongings that were left by the host. There was a significant amount of food and drinks left in both fridges(one in the kitchen and one in the garage) with little to no instructions on what was the hosts personal food or what was left by past guests. The bar in the garage was also stocked with some drinks and mixers, but again there were no instructions on if they were there for guests or not. A few more details about the rules could have been nice, but that is just one small complaint against so many positive features this stay has to offer!

The Franklin Cottage is a beautiful and friendly place to stay with family. Our family felt right at home, like staying with family. The kitchen had everything we needed. The fridge was cold and ready for all our goodies. The location is ideal for a private stay and easily accessible to areas of downtown Red Wing. Highly recommend for all those that are mobile and can easily navigate steps. Thank You to our fabulous hosts and house manager.

Beau was very responsive, accommodating, and super friendly! This is our new go-to spot when visiting LC. Definitely recommend!

A group of us stayed at Nona's place during Big Turn Music Fest weekend. We had an absolute blast, and this stay was everything we wanted. Of note: The home is super spacious, and even with eight people, we all were able to retreat to our own little corners whenever we needed a break. The view is simply stunning. We arrived after dark and it was a treat to wake up to the sight of the frozen river and bluffs in the morning. The kitchen was the best AirBnb kitchen I've ever stayed in. A fully stocked spice cabinet, baking basics, excellent dish and cookware (including Le Creuset!!), and a coffee/appliance nook with everything you'd need. We weren't bothered by the train or the nearby airport and the stay was super peaceful, while also close enough to Red Wing for an easy trip to the music. Thank you, Nona, for a great weekend!

Nice remodel, quality finishes and appliances. Perfect size for the two of us, all the supplies we needed: shampoo, conditioner, soap, paper towels, facial tissue, etc. Appreciated the spotless house, A/C, comfortable beds. Also liked the decor and was nice there wasn’t too much of it taking up space. Everything worked in the house, saw no maintenance issues. Only thing I would add is some type of window covers in living room, even just sheer panels that could be pulled at night. Super neighborhood. Location was excellent, just a 3 minute walk to the lake side walking trail. Highly recommend nearby Kelly’s Lake House Restaurant for great food, service, prices, outdoor seating right on Lake Pepin. Fun shopping in Red Wing.

This place was absolutely perfect for our family at Christmas time. It felt so magical , cozy & quiet. The host was very responsive , the house was clean and had all the amenities we needed.

Great place and beautiful view of the lake!

The home was the perfect size and accommodation for our group! The view and the yard are spectacular. We all had a great time catching up. Just a couple things to note. Ubers, lyfts, and local taxis are not easily accessible, especially if you have a dinner reservation to make. The second is that you are expected to wash, dry, fold, and put away towels before check out, which we had never heard of having to do before, particularly with a higher cleaning fee. We honestly probably would have brought our own towels if we had known this. Overall we really enjoyed our time here!

The views from this condo was EVERYTHING I expected. My stay was very peaceful and pleasant. I will be booking again very soon.

We absolutely loved this cozy space and all the attention to detail in the thoughtful touches throughout the unit. The proximity to restaurants and shopping can’t be beat – was nice being able to park the car for the weekend and just walk where we wanted to go. The artwork throughout the unit was impressive and the abundance of comfortable seating was very much appreciated for curling up with a book and just relaxing. We look forward to our next visit!

This the third time we’ve stayed at Anthony’s Airbnb for a little ski weekend! Perfect getaway with friends. Always recommend making a reservation at Bleu Dog cafe for breakfast. We’ll be back for sure!
