Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Minnesota

David gave us excellent directions which was very helpful as his cabin is secluded in the woods at the end of Six Mile Lake. When we arrived and saw the outside of the old log cabin, the large fire pit and view of the lake we were thrilled. It is just lovely. Once inside we again were very happy to see the authenticity of the place. The kitchen is so fun with its retro appliances. The living room had a comfortable sofa and two old chairs. On the wall next to the stairs that went to the loft were two bunk beds. The loft was extremely roomy with a comfortable queen bed (just a little firm), dressers and a large chair with ottoman. The bathroom on the lower level had the old claw and foot tub with a nice shower head. This place is loaded with whatever you would need although you may have to do a little searching. The only concern was that our small dog could fall through the loft stairs as there are no risers so just be careful there. Beautiful dock with five canoes!

Our stay was AMAZING! Matt was very communicative with us before and during our stay. The property itself is so beautiful, and the house was intentionally built for a serene escape. We thoroughly enjoyed having a fire each night and enjoying the sauna in the mornings. We cooked several meals with the help of a throughly stocked kitchen. We highly recommend staying here and hope to stay again!

Ashley’s place is so nice and unique the layout of the house was just beautiful. I really don’t think the pics give the justice it needs too cause the house is very Beautiful. the scenery amazing. the hot tub was really chefs kiss for me.

We just stayed for a week (this was our second family trip to this place) and our family loves it. Amazing views of the lake and shore, feels very private, and an overall cozy/comfortable place for a get-away. The main floor is quite creaky when you walk on it, which can be loud if someone is up later or earlier than others, but that’s the only “negative” about this place. It’s not that bad, but worth mentioning. Everything else is excellent though. And the location is hard to beat. I would highly recommend a family trip here.

Our family of four, including two young boys, had a wonderful stay at the cabin. We spent lots of time fishing and enjoying the great outdoors. It was peaceful, fun, and just what we were looking for. We'd definitely come back again!

Awesome spot! The house has great spots to hang out outdoors in nice weather, and cozy places inside when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. Everything you’d expect to have is there, plus more (functional pizza oven, speakers, dog supplies). Located a few minutes from Grand Marais, set back up the hill in the woods with views of the lake. Would have loved to stay longer :)

Jamil’s house was great! There were great places for our family to gather to talk and tables for games. There were a number of games there that our family enjoyed. The kitchen was huge and well supplied with all the things we need to cook a few meals. The views from the house and deck were great! We will definitely rent this house again if we return to this area.

Our family of four had a great 4 night stay (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 pre-teen). The house was clean and well cared for and had great natural light, even in the basement. The beds were very comfortable and with 5 rooms to choose from- all with their own tvs, everyone had what they needed. There were several common areas for us to spend time together and not feel cramped. We did eat out most days, but the kitchen was well stocked and met our needs. The provided tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, garbage bags and plenty of towels were appreciated. The neighborhood was very quiet so we were able to rest when we spent time at the house in the mornings and evenings. The location was perfect for what we planned (ValleyFair- 20 minute drive; Sustainable Safari- 5 min; Mall of America- 15 min). We also enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Bonnie and Joe were very responsive to questions I asked before and during our stay. We would stay here again!

The bungalow was great. Barb let us have a family gathering to celebrate my mother-in-law's 85th birthday. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a family meal. Also, there was a high chair, which came in handy for our grandbaby. The location was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. If you love nature...this is a place for you.

Great space, loved the front porch and the back patio. The beds were comfortable and very accessible to most of Minneapolis has to offer! Check in was easy and checkout was simple. Definitely would stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay at Adam’s place! Came into town for our friend’s birthday and could not have asked for a more clean and beautiful home for the weekend. The location is fabulous in regard to closeness to local bars and restaurants. We needed Adam’s help once during our stay and he responded within minutes and helped us solve our issue within half an hour. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! Super appreciative of our great weekend in Winona.

We had a great time! I rented this place for my graduation. The place was nice and comfortable for my family of 10. The kids had fun playing in the back yard and on the arcade games. Would definitely recommend this place, it was affordable, clean and the neighborhood was peaceful! Thanks again!

Nice little house on the lake. Perfect for a weekend with family. We enjoyed the view, the puzzles and games, and the little trail to Moody Lake.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed, including plenty of toiletries and fresh towels. A few small things to note: we spotted some ants near the TV and noticed a blue car parked on the property occasionally—probably someone caring for the chickens. It might be helpful to mention that in the listing. On our last night, we saw an unfamiliar car nearby that quickly left when it noticed us, which felt a little unusual but nothing came out of it. When we arrived, the pool vacuum was still in the water. The host kindly let us know we could unplug it ourselves as it was forgotten, but since we didn’t get to it that night, she came by the next morning to take care of it, which we really appreciated. A quick heads-up beforehand would have been even better. Overall, the home was comfortable, and the host was responsive and thoughtful. We’d happily recommend it!

Jeremy and Wania were excellent hosts. The house was amazingly beautiful! It felt like home. I would highly recommend staying there. We will stay there again on our next visit to Hastings.

Had a wonderful, albeit too short, stay at the moose condo! It was so nice being right on the lake. Everything in the condo was just as described and I really appreciated that coffee was provided. Scott was also very responsive. I’d stay here again.

My family and I stayed up here for a quick weekend trip, myself, my fiancée, our 6 month old and our dog. This Airbnb was the perfect combination of prime location and amenities. Day one before check-in we were able to drive the short distance to Grand Marais and go shop around the town, try out some new food, and walk the dog on the shore of Lake Superior. Check-in was such a breeze through the hosts extremely clear instructions. The condo was really clean and well stocked with all the little things that you forget to pack on a weekend away (and coffee)! The location being between Tofte and Lutsen let us get out to a few different towns to check out great food and drink options. One morning we went to Coho cafe for breakfast and coffee followed by 3 waterfalls all within 15 minutes, it made for a beautiful day. That afternoon we went down to the shore right at the resort and just took in the view. The sauna, hot tub and pool were just the cherry on top! Can’t wait to go back 👍

We enjoyed the amazing sunsets, large grass area to play outdoors, skipping rocks down on the rock beach, and especially having a private fire pit on the patio was fantastic!!! The furniture was very comfortable to watch movies on the large tv. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to make meals and gather around the large table sharing stories and playing several of the board games. Ellie was very quick to response to any question we had. The pool was closed during our stay, but we definitely would have used it. We rented a pontoon and had a blast with that too! We'd rent here again :)

The pool was a huge hit for us! Stayed by the water for three days, nice deck area that had a covered seating area. The backyard felt very private, hardly saw or heard any neighbors. Very spacious in the house, large rooms and bathrooms. Would defiantly stay again!!

This Airbnb was great. Had everything that we needed within a beautiful condo space. Access to the lake and hot tub was great.

Comfy bed with luxiously soft linens, big deep bath tub perfect for soaking, and overall cozy feel. I wish parking was included with price as it is downtown where parking is limited and parking ramps expensive. Sadly, didn't get a chance to utilize the pool and hot tub. The hours differ than listed on the weekends, and the only posting in the I saw was on the 20th floor.
