Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Gond-Pontouvre

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Merci pour ce séjour dans la campagne d’angoulême. Nos échanges qui nous ont permis d’organiser un séjour parfait. J’ai même pu recharger ma voiture électrique sur place notre hôte a été très arrangeant. Un grand merci et au plaisir sur angoulême 😉

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

Un très bon séjour passé dans un logement fonctionnel, bien situé et correspondant à l'annonce. La communication avec Frederic est très simple, efficace et clair. Je ne peux que vous recommander ce logement !

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour auprès de nos hôtes Sandra et Vincent qui nous ont accueillis comme leur famille, ils ont été aux petits soins durant tout le séjour, à tel point que nous sommes restés 2 jours supplémentaires. Le logement initialement réservé n'étant pas disponible pour notre surplus de congés, ils nous ont mis à disposition une caravane, un tipi et tout un ensemble jardin nous garantissant un confort maximal, nous sommes subjugués par leur gentillesse et leur dévouement. Un IMMENSE MERCI Sandra et Vincent pour toutes ces attentions du quotidien, vous nous manquez déjà ainsi que Bart et Yop 🐶 🤗🥰

Très bon séjour chez Daniel et Christine, un très bel accueil avec une petite attention. Endroits très calme pour des vacances reposantes. Piscine et Jacuzzi couverts c’est super pour en profiter par tous les temps. Maison grande et très fonctionnelle, petit jardin clôturé et grand jardin avec plusieurs jeux. Séjour vraiment très agréable avec tout ce qu’il faut pour passer de bonnes vacances. Avec en prime de bonnes recommandations sur la région et un peu d’histoire très sympa ☺️

Muriel est une personne très sympathique. Le logement est très agréable, spacieux et calme. La possibilité de garer le véhicule dans l’enclos a été très appréciable. Vraiment, je reviendrai volontiers.

Hote sympathique, arrangeante et très réactive. Appartement très bien placé, très agréable à vivre, très bien équipé... on s'y sent très vite comme chez soi. Je garde précieusement les coordonnées de Lisa pour un prochain déplacement à Angoulême. Je recommande à 200 % et les yeux fermés !

Parfait pour la nuitée que j'ai effectuée !

Nous avons profité d'un excellent séjour dans ce logement. Il correspondait parfaitement à nos besoins.

Raphaël est un hôte très accueillant et attentif aux soins des voyageurs. Raphaël est par ailleurs très réactif pour répondre aux sollicitations pendant le séjour. Nous avons en conséquence passé un très bon séjour à Angoulême, ce d'autant plus que le logement est très bien, spacieux et propre. Il correspond en tout point à la description. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Le logement correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes. De belles balades aux alentours. Excellent séjour chez Jèm pour nous trois et notre chat. La proximité des chiens des propriétaires n'a posé aucun problème car le cloisonnement est très efficace (pour ne pas effrayer le chat) et les chiens sont très gentils. Nous recommandons !

Philippe est très accueillant et toujours à l’écoute. L’appartement est très agréable et le quartier est sympathique. Le marché Victor Hugo et les commerces sont tout proches. Très agréable séjour

Super stay in a very historic building, swimming every day. Internally superb although the main building could do with a bit of attention, only expected with the age of the place. Great stay...thanks Jason
