Wir haben unsere Zeit in dem Haus sehr genossen. Wir konnten viele Tiere beobachten und haben nachts dem Dschungel gelauscht. Von unserer Terasse aus haben wir unter anderem Spinnenaffen, Kolibris, Tukane und Agutis gesehen. Nancy ist eine sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereit Gastgeberin.

This was an extraordinary experience; one of our favorite spaces and trips that we have ever had. The nature is unbeatable. Monkeys and macaws are your close neighbors. The jungle is home, and the energy it provides is nurturing and deeply spiritual. The layout of the house is spacious and open. The beach is private and a beautiful 5 minute walk. Wildlife Oasis: Surf, Rainforest, Animals!

Lapalandia was wonderful!! Just wish we had stayed more nights. It has a huge upstairs balcony with comfy seating and a large outdoor seating area with hammocks looking out over a lush tropical garden, and all things you need in the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas. Two things to be aware of are that the sleeping area is up a spiral staircase and all three beds are in the same room. So if you have to go to the bathroom at night you have to walk downstairs to the bathroom. Totally fine for us, but just in case you don't notice that in the photos! It was great being able to walk down a short path directly to Matapalo beach & King Louis Waterfall. It was also a short walk or drive to Backwash and Pan dulce. We enjoyed some excellent meals at Martina's, Encanta La Vida, Lapa Rios, and Bosque Del Cabo nearby. Highly recommend the hike up to the waterfall from the bridge as well. The host Rodrigo was very welcoming, incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond.

Hallo, die Unterkunft ist nah am Strand gelegen und wie auf einem eigenen Gelände gelegen. Total schön mit einer großen Terasse und es ist alles da was man benötigt. Das Haus hat auf dem Gelände einen eigenen Parkplatz und es ist alles super gepflegt. Auch sonst ist alles da was man benötigt, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Die Eigentümer wohnen direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite und sind immer und schnell zu erreichen. Wir waren mit 4 Personen dort und es ist ohne Einschränkungen empfelenswert. Vielen Dank, dass wir bei euch Gast sein durften! VG Michael

This made for a great little cabina to unwind and relax. Peter's daughter, Alexis, met us there and gave us a run down of things including recommendations of places to go and restaurants and was extremely helpful. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook our own meals also. Even though we were there during the week, I was a bit skeptical about how private the beach would be, but wow, we saw few people on the beach and then traveled over to Rincón Beach and saw no one there. Even though the dirt road runs right in front, you don't really notice it due to all the trees and plants and the sound of the ocean. It sits just far enough from the beach to have privacy but is close enough to walk right out to it.

Amazing spot right on the Matapalo surf break. Best deal around for a great space and walk right out backyard to one of the best waves on the planet. Stayed two nights with my wife and 12 year old daughter. Perfect for us. Ted was super nice and helpful and the dogs on the property are awesome! GIBS!

Our stay with Jorge was just perfect. He really made our time in Drake Bay special by being extremely kind and helpful. Horge even organised the tours to Isla de Caño and Corcovado for us and got us some Pipas from his garden, when I felt a bit dizzy one day. His garden is extremely rich in different plants and a lot of animals come by. Jorge himself has a very friendly and cuddly dog and a lovely cat. The room was nice and spacious and felt at home. You can use Jorge's kitchen which has all the equiptment needed and he even offered us some of the food he cooked (which we sadly had to decline because we had to get rid of our own groceries haha). You can hear the sounds of the jungle at night, which really gives you the Costa Rica experience! There's a river very close by which is absolutely stunnung and the beach can be reached within 10-15min by foot. Overall would recommend and definitely come again!

Het is een super locatie. uitzicht is uitzonderlijk en rustig. Je moet wel even over onverharde weg heen maar dat is de moeite wel waard. sochtends wakker worden met alle vogels en de natuur om je heen. Ook de boottocht die wij met viktor hebben mogen doen was fantastisch en geweldig om te mogen meemaken. wij hadden nog nooit dolfijnen gezien van zo dichtbij en dan ook nog eens 2 soorten. Dank je wel Viktor
