Close to A635 and A1 (M) and goldthorpe railway station is within walking distance. Great stay for walking, the area offers access to scenic local routes. Ideal for family’s or those working on the road due to the motorway and rail way connections. Pet friendly although we ask for pets not to go upstairs please.

Carnegie Library, built in 1906 and continued as a library up until 1970s. This apartment was the reading room. Beautiful original large arched windows bring natural light to the place. It is an unusual layout with mezzanine floor for the bedroom and a little nook area for the sofa bed. Separate bathroom with shower etc. Please note you are coming to an ex mining village so while Swinton it's self is not a holiday area , it is central to many interesting places around.
