Tex Rickard House

The Tex Rickard House is the perfect choice for your stay in Goldfield! This house was built in 1906 for Tex himself. He was the promoter for the world famous boxing match between Joe Ganns and "Battling" Nelson that lasted 42 rounds. it is the most charming house in Golfdfield and was built to a higher standard then any other house left standing after the fire of 1923. It has been beautifully restored by the owners and is quite comfortable with all the amenities you will need.

Some may find it uncomfortable because of its softness. Others enjoy its softness. If you prefer a more firm mattress, you may want to choose Rosie's Room for your stay.

BOOK TWO OR MORE NIGHTS AND GET A DISCOUNT! This 1 bedroom, 1 bath unique home sleeps up to 4 people and is known as the John Paul House. Lots of windows and natural light with views of the town. Goldfield has a great history and has many places to explore. The International Car Forest is walking distance. Most of our guests are just passing through, the biggest regret they have is that they did not stay another night to explore this little known desert gem.

Queen bed in each room and a full size sofa sleeper in the living room. Goldfield has a great history and has many places to explore. Most of our guests are just passing through, the biggest regret they have is that they did not stay another night to explore this little known desert gem.

Truly loved this house, well worth the money and the drive. Don’t forget to check out the starry night over the desert, though it might be necessary to bring your own telescope if you want to take any closer looks. Comfortable spacious rooms and all sorts of cool wildlife viewable from the porch.

This Airbnb is a great experience driving into a more remote area at the foot of the beautiful mountains, with a cold water creek and hot springs nearby. The tiny house is very comfortable and the hosts are friendly. We relaxed and had a chat near the creek. I’d like to come back for a longer retreat.

Love this B&B. Have stayed a few times and it is a hidden gem. I sleep like a baby in the quote country location. Beautiful home and beautiful people.

What an outstanding place to stay! It was like an oasis in the desert. Wow! The house was decorated like a museum with tender loving care showing in every nook and cranny. The setting was beautifully serene with vast views of vineyards, farmlands, and mountains. Stunning! Mark's mother, Joyce, prepared a scrumptious breakfast with the best waffles and eggs to my liking, fruit, juice, and coffee...double wow! And the company of the family who has lived in the area for over 50 years was just an utter delight. I'm going back any chance I can. High recommendations without any reservations at all.
