Places to stay in Goldfield

This was a nice soft place to rest. It was exactly what we needed, thank you Jeri!

What a fun place to stay! Chris had very clear instructions on the place and great recommendations for things to do in a fun little town. Patio and swing set were a big plus. Comfy beds and very clean place. Wish we could have spent a couple days here to relax but we were just passing through and only had a night. Would totally stay here again and plan for a few nights.

My wife and I stayed at the Wild Creek bnb for four nights. It was the most relaxing and enjoyable stay we have had in quite some time. What a change to wake up to the right kind of sounds - a rushing creek and birds in the trees and bushes. And just step out to a porch with an expansive view of Fish Lake Valley and the White Mts. And how nice to sit around a campfire next to the creek in the evenings. And such a nice base of operations to sally forth and explore all the surrounding countryside, including the small community of Dyer, NV. There is so much to do and see in this area that is off the usual, typical beaten path. And equally significantly, Karl and Theresa were available to help us out with a low gasoline situation. We did so much exploring around, we were a bit low on gasoline when leaving the Valley and were concerned about the significant distances this part of the country can have. But the hosts were ready to help us out! Much appreciated!

We took a weekend family vacation and my kids loved exploring the International Car Forest and digging for stones at Gemfield. We also ate dinner in Tonopah both nights (about 30 min drive) and went to the park there right at the edge of the city. The Hometown Pizza is pretty yummy and kid friendly! The people of Goldfield we met were SUPER friendly. One man let my kids into his 1985 fire truck and another man let my kids pet his donkey he was walking on a leash through town. There is so much personality in the little town and so much interesting, albeit abandoned and run down, architecture to explore. We loved it! Easy 3 hour drive from Vegas.

We had a great stay at the cabin! Breakfast was a nice touch in the morning! Be prepared for lots of peacocks who are sooooo curious about whoever is in the cabin!

I wasn't actually able to stay here because I didn't make it into town in time, but I did eventually arrive in Goldfield. The cabin looked exactly as described and was in a perfect location for walking around town. So cute! The host, Tim was easy to communicate with. Can't wait to stay here in the future!

It was so nice to meet Jeanette, she is a wonderful host and extremely helpful! The location was exactly what we wanted, away from everything, except outdoors. Lol The house was so clean, it was open, not cluttered, and has an amazing view with a very peaceful pond in the back. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back! Thank you again Jeanette.

Our small family ( my husband, myself, two teens and a puppy) had a fantastic experience staying here for two nights. The house is perfect in every way, the light and views of the surroundings are incredible and star gazing ( there is a telescope but we also brought our own) was amazing. It was super comfortable and very equipped with everything we needed, especially the kitchen (we cook). We appreciated the hot tub and the house being warm when we arrived. The town of Beatty (no shops really but cheap gas) was a close enough distance (40 mins drive). I wouldn't recommend arriving in the dark as we did, if possible. The house was almost impossible to find in the pitch black, and you need to use not only the longitude / latitude, (which we weren't to start off with) but the satellite map view too.
